[@Dynamo Frokane] Well that's the thing with this style of warfare troops were generally very singular in purpose. So you won't see many units that can charge, lay down heavy fire, and break enemy lines. Gunner platoon could train with Hurricane gun emplacements if you want heavy weapons. While on paper Platoons will be given a defined name and structure the truth that each platoon would probably have certain things it excelled at over others thus changing how a commander might use them.
