Name: Septim Age: 31 Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: Quite tall at 6'1, Septim's most distinctive features are probably his bright green eyes framed by messy red hair and the three markings on both his upper arms. His physique is more the result of physical labor than something built up through exercise, and the slight tan seems to be from spending time under the sun. He's rarely clean shaven, though it typically doesn't get much longer than some stubble. Armored up, the bright red pieces somehow manage not to stand out when he moves in the shadows or through a forest's underbrush. A property of the metal or some enhancement placed on the pieces perhaps? Personality: Septim is a fairly upbeat man, rarely dwelling on negatives for longer than necessary. He greets strangers with enthusiasm and is quick to look for friendship, while remaining polite and respectful. To people he's more familiar with, Septim can come off as cocky at times and he's certainly not lacking in confidence when it come to his own abilities. With an intense interest in weaponry of all sorts, he often jumps at the opportunity to examine the strange and exotic. Otherwise he doesn't seem particularly interested in learning more than needed for him to perform his duties. While he rarely gets the opportunity to given his role, Septim seems to enjoy putting on a show during combat. Peppering enemies as he slides into cover or vaulting over an enemy to get a shot at his buddy and then shooting them in the back. He doesn't get a kick out of killing, even if he has no qualms about it. Biography: A fresh Mark had appeared and it fell on them to secure it before the other factions could arrive. It was a pity that Primro and Quintus couldn't join them, dispatched on other tasks, but the six of them would have to make do. They'd departed immediately after the news had arrived and traveled for three days to arrive at the outskirts of the Mark's location. While the others busied themselves with setting up camp, he and Trece had exchanged the usual remarks before they moved on ahead to scout out the location. It was always interesting to investigate a Mark. Sometimes they formed in subtle ways, and other times they gouged themselves into the land and flattened things for a distance all around them. Like in this case. It was hard to give exact numbers, but he suspected the Mark was almost 100 meters across and the forest had been flattened for about a mile all around. Even three days later, the area had yet to settle down from such a drastic change and his surroundings were abuzz with activity. Not too problematic, and Septim could hardly complain given he couldn't find any signs of activity from the Watchers or Conclave. They probably wouldn't arrive for another day at the least, giving them a bit of free time to set up. He looked around one last time before Septim dropped off the branch and fell towards the forest floor. Tucking himself into a roll, his surroundings darkened for a moment, and then he found himself crouched in a wide open field instead of a busy forest. Class: Marksman, and the symbol looks like the marks that appear behind him when he manifests his weapons. Three lines on both sides of a central, higher, line. Gift: [Re-Shift] The Gift to blink in any direction a few meters, Septim is able to chain together several blinks forward to move rapidly across short distances. He can also shift himself back to a previous position within a few meters. Though this requires much longer in between uses, it also has the property of reversing his condition as well, allowing him to escape from danger untouched. Natural Powers: Septim boasts heightened senses and mental acuity. A consummate tracker with both senses and mind to notice the slightest details, his abilities also aid him in combat, be it tracking a target at range or taking aim at several enemies at once. Each of the Knights holds the ability to call forth weapons formed of hard light, and Septim is the user of firearms. He tends to favor a pair of handguns for combat, albeit creating other forms is possible as well. Talents: Septim often acted as a medic for his comrades, and has decent knowledge and experience when it comes to first aid and medical treatments. In addition to being a skilled tracker, Septim is just as good at disappearing without leaving a trace of his passage. His experience working alone means he's a survivalist that won't have much trouble surviving almost anywhere in the wilderness. Moderately skilled in swordplay, he's not helpless if his magic fails him for some reason. Outside of his profession, Septim is a fair dancer and has a smooth singing voice. He's a good woodcarver as well, often whittling away at some piece with a small carving knife as something to keep his hands busy. Weaknesses: Without his helmet on, Septim's heightened sense of smell and hearing can often be overwhelming. His eyes can somewhat adjust, but loud noises and powerful scents are bothers at best and crippling at times. Water interferes with Septim's ability to call forth weaponry. Heavy rainfall weakens his firearms and makes maintaining them difficult, while being in water prevents their usage entirely. While more independent than his kin, Septim is still very keen on the acceptance of others and does not enjoy operating as a lone wolf.
