*Zeta hears the gunfire, but she really can't be assed to deal with it, so she pretends she doesn't. She looks at her spear, which is looking back at her in its own way, and sighs. She lets go of the spear, and lets it go check out the disturbance. It floats over to the shooting, and sees Hugo with his tentacles wrapped around a weird lizard monster, so it is really confused as to who is the good guy. It slowly floats back to Zeta after a while of watching, and she basically facepalms.*

*Vaseraga roars in defiance at being moved around, and tries digging in his heels into the ground to at least slow the centipede down. He also tries picking it up, but yeah that won't happen, it's a fair bit too big for that. He does what he can with the scythe, but loses his grip on it in exchange for trying to slow down the centipede, so the scythe clatters out of the centipede's head and onto the ground, lost in the dust from the rampaging critter.*
