When Regina came from the church tower, it was obvious that she was not doing well. With her adrenaline gone, all that was left was pain, though the girl did her best not to show it. Whatever was the case as Regina laid down recovering from her wounds that night she came to the conclusion that even though the princess showed an extremely dangerous logic she still had a few positives that could turn her around.

The first would be they become better leaders and will not endanger their troops as badly as the Roc combat. But the second was to ensure that Regina herself survived even if the others did not. After her injury, she concluded she will not follow any other orders that she thought was going to be extremely hazardous to her without knowing the order was a good idea. She was fine with throwing away her life for the Empire, not wasting it.

Upon Viola pointing out a glare in the distance, Regina immediately took out a spyglass that the academy has provided and looked at the ruins in the distance. At first, Regina could not see anything, but she soon spotted shapes in the distance. Due to the distance, she could not see in full detail of what they were, but they were definitely human. However, she still agreed with Leblanc and Szeren. A scout force would be the best approach. However, the first of Natus's statements made Regina nod in agreement.
