Just to give a better idea of how notable Constantine is from fame alone...

- He was the first Roman Emperor who proclaimed Christianity
- He united East and West Rome during its downfall.
- He had a city (Constantinople) named after him, which was the capital of the Eastern Empire, or the Byzantine Empire, for many years, and still is a major standing city today (Istanbul)
- He established the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, [i]the[/i] holiest place in Christendom.
- He had a very successful military campaign, and died peacefully
