Her body had cauterized the wound, but that didn't mean there was no internal damage. She would need to have a doctor inspect it at some point or else she could risk blood pooling near the wound. Of course, any medical attempts to operate on her would likely be made difficult. She would have to be knocked unconscious, otherwise it would take too much energy to consciously not burn the surgeon and seal the wound. October could only hope that she would get lucky and avoid any complications. "Yes, I think I'm quite alright," October said to Carolina, noting the stressed expressions on Bonnie's face. She didn't hear the words exchanged between Cassandra and Bonnie, due to the pair of them whispering, but October doubted it was anything good. Government agencies could rarely be trusted. And besides, they'd need to figure out some way to get back to the Alucard Institute. They likely didn't have much time left before their absence would be noted, along with the object they were instructed to retrieve--the 0-8-4 that the agents likely wouldn't give up. "At any rate, Faust will notice we're missing soon," October then added quietly. "We need to get back to the school, as I have no intention of dying today. The timing just isn't right for that."

Bonnie Chase

Interacting With: Everyone [@Nallore] Location: the Zephyr (Hallway)

The explosion was a good coverup for most of the flames. If pressed, they could (truthfully) say that the explosives in there were set off during the struggle. But as for the melted door, it would create false information about the 0-8-4. As far as they knew, the object didn't melt anything. And it certainly wasn't anywhere near that door to begin with, since Cassandra had tucked it away inside of a panel. "We can't blame the 0-8-4 for that," Bonnie whispered back, biting her lip. "Perhaps we claim that Ward did it and the weapon responsible was destroyed in the fire?" The radio crackled before Cassandra would have a chance to respond. "Come upstairs, Agents. Bring the kids with you. We need to regroup." Bonnie looked at her partner nervously. If they didn't agree on one thing that would be plausible enough, then they would have to give up Carolina's friend. It would protect Carolina still, however, the one thing Bonnie had promised to do. Protecting October hadn't been part of the equation.
