[@Pyromaniacwolf] Lucian started looking over the edge of the canoe for Pokémon, drifting outside the edges of the town, and… He had some luck finding some creatures. So, except for the occasional Woopers drifting about like nothing, and the occasional Poliwags that also were fairly common under the water’s surface… Pokédex Entry #60 – Poliwag, the Tadpole Pokémon. While it has legs, it’s inept at using them and always swims. Its skin is extremely thin, making its spiral innards visible. Despite this, it’s very flexible and even sharp fangs bounce right off. There were also occasionally small schools of… other tadpoles, swimming underwater and sending small echoes to one another through their “ears”. Pokédex Entry #535 – Tympole, the Tadpole Pokémon. By vibrating its cheeks, it can emit high-pitched sound-waves that can be imperceptible to humans. These are used to talk to others of its kind, warn of danger or similar purposes. They work best with allies, and therefore swim and attack in groups. If those didn’t interest him, he could row on. It was notable that the canoe he was on or the oars weren’t made out of wood or any such, but rather some form of metal. Why this was notable? … Well, because suddenly the canoe jerked from a dozen or so impacts and the right oar tried to twist itself from his grip. If he lifted it, he’d note a very violent-looking fish had bitten into it, glaring at him with a “what’cha think yar lookin’ at, punk” kind of look. Pokédex Entry #318 – Carvanha, the Savage Pokémon. Territorial and vicious, they’re known to swarm and attack anything that enters their territory. Their strong jaws and sharp teeth are known to have the power to tear out boat hulls. However, when on its own, they turn extremely timid. So, yes. He had drifted into a territory. … And because they knew these things existed in the lake, the boats and the oars were reinforced. Fortunate that they think of such things, huh? Especially since there was a small swarm of the things trying to tear the bottom of the ship out now. Up to Lucian what he wanted to do. [s][sub][sub]You’re not going to be able to find a creature who’s whole shtick is trying to camouflage itself as kelp in freshwater[/sub][/sub][/s] __________________________ [@Project] He’d eventually decide to walk through town. Yupp, Highhill’s a nice little place, undisturbed by anything, if the townsfolk perhaps a little perplexed by the unit of Team Virtue Grunts that had just wandered through. ‘Where’d they come from?’ Some worker carrying some boxes asked within hearing range of Erza. ‘Most likely from their base in Redcoast City, I’d assume?’ Another, not as interested worker answered with a shrug. ‘Er, I could figure that, but… WHY’D they come…?’ The first one responded. The question, once again, remained unanswered. Anyways. Erza went to the Pokémon Center and got his Pokémon healed. Would you like to rest your Pokémon?’ Assumingly, yes. ‘Okay. I’ll take your Pokémon for a few seconds, then.’ She’d then accept the Pokéballs and put them into the machine, and… Di, di, di-do-da! ‘Thank you for waiting. We’ve restored your Pokémon to full health.’ She says as she hands the Pokéballs back. She then bows to her customer and gives a friendly smile. ‘We hope to see you again!’
If otherwise unsaid, Rory was in the Pokémon Center, sitting to the side. As he went out of the Pokémon Center and started walking towards the exit of town… an elder man chuckled from beside him as he noted the direction Erza was heading. The man was just heading by, a Machop at his side. Pokédex Entry #66 – Machop, the Superpower Pokémon. A Machop is built up by a special muscle, which despite its size makes it stronger than 100 humans and will never tire no matter how much it strains itself. This combined with their general availability makes them a common choice for helping humans with manual labours. ‘You heading for Route 3, young trainer? Hueh-heh. I’ll say you probably want to get an umbrella. They sell a few at the store.’ The man said, looking a bit amused as he kept going, the Machop looking at Erza for a moment before following the older man. … Depending on if Rory interacts with him or not in his next post, the man could have been heading in or away from the Pokémon Center. So, those umbrellas were being sold for 50P. Up to Erza if he wanted to buy one. But otherwise, he was free to run back into…

Route 3
Route 3 is partly covered by the Silent Forest, but a path has been made through the trees for people travelling by the northern path from Rainrock down to Highhill and onto Pureplain. It is a fairly decently travelled road, as it’s the main road from Pureplain to the other cities of Isson. But, that doesn’t change that it’s almost constantly under a heavy downpour from the many clouds known to gather in the routes around Rainrock City. The atmosphere is constantly damp, thanks to the rainy weather. Chances are large that Pokémon preferring a rainy day will be found in this route. While there’s likely a road for vehicles, the route for travellers is much different. With the proximity to Highhill, there’s actually a fair amount of hills in the area, and the route goes up and down. The path itself is fenced in with wooden fences and stairs up and down the hills, following those would lead to a fairly easy traversal to Rainrock City. But, step outside, and you’re officially in Silent Forest. The path is mostly cobblestone and stairs. The trees are mostly green with leaves but some blossom in pink or stranger colors. And of course, plenty of Pokémon if you just stray slightly from the road. Due to the high amounts of rain and vegetation, few people live on this route, and besides the route itself there’s little in the ways of civilization. Just a very long, very wet route, with two splits. One near Highhill Town going deeper into the forest to the Silent Shrine, and one close to Rainrock east for those heading to Route 4 and Mt. Strength or Stillwood Village. Regardless… the rain will feel like it ends very suddenly, in either of those directions. But it has been like that for so long, people have just accepted it. “It rains on Route 3”, “water is wet”. And so, reality continues.
… But, yeah, Erza had been on this route before. He hadn’t been all that lucky last time. Or, well, in a way he had been lucky. How many people do you think get free rides on wild Tropiuses? In any case. Now entering the route from the other direction, he saw a sign right by the road. “DON’T LET YOUR CHILDREN HOLD DRIFLOONS!” - Sign at the entrance of Route 3. Huh. In any case. As he travelled, he’d undoubtedly see the two most common creatures of Route 3. Some Bellsprouts just outside the fence just rooted there looking around, and some Shroomishes resting or preparing to get moving for the next night. Pokédex Entry #69 – Bellsprout, the Flower Pokémon. A carnivorous plant, it traps and eats bugs to eat. It can root itself deep into the ground to drink, or uproot itself to move. It’s skinny body is extremely flexible to avoid attacks, and its speed with its Vine Whips at prey are said to be blindingly fast. It loves hot and humid places. Pokédex Entry #285 – Shroomish, the Mushroom Pokémon. It lives deep in dark, damp forest where it eats the composted soil and fallen leaves. By day it remains still in the forest shade, by night it moves to eat. If it detects danger, it can spout highly toxic spores from the top of its head, strong enough to make trees wilt.
1. Find Pokémon. To the tiny little Ralts, that was a fortune. It quickly started pointing with its tiny broom in various directions at varying other Raltses and… ‘Ral-ralts! Ralts!’ Made commands that got the other little follows dashing. Later, inside the shrine, Amelia suddenly found Raltses approaching her, carrying and offering her a one of their cushions, a blanket, a mug of water, a hand-fan which the little Ralts carrying it seemed to intend to blow wind on her to please her with itself, and remaining Raltses giving her respecting bows. Nevermind she might not be in a situation where she needed most of that, but still. Lorette blinked a little at their offering, before giggling. Up to Amelia how she reacted to that. ‘Well, it wasn’t my dream, per se, just a preference. I’m perfectly happy having become a Gym Leader at all, and my mother supported that. It’s not like I could have walked over to Jeanette, who’s a little bit of my idol might I add, and told her to stand down as Fairy-type Gym Leader, could I?’ Lorette giggled a little more. ‘Nah, I’m okay with this. … Maybe in a few years, when I’m a bit older and experienced, I’ll make a more decisive move~!’ Lorette smiled, a slight bit of mischievousness in her expression, but otherwise she was happy. The Larvesta accepted its role as room-warmer, and relaxed beside them, though still let out some flames for them to be warmed by. __________________________ [@Rune_Alchemist] Hector grinned as Claire made her plan. In answer to that, he simply leaned his head back, and… ‘Conkeldurr. The Kakuna. “Rock Throw”!’ Hector commanded, and the muscular Pokémon immediately moved. ‘Conkel-!’ The Pokémon took one of its concrete slabs, and swung it overhead as if intending on throwing it… except the Conkeldurr jumped, never letting go of the pillar, and the whole Pokémon flew across the room at Del and Ralia. This was apparently still “Rock Throw”, and any Pokémon that’d potentially be hit would confirm it definitely would feel like Rock-type. Ritz hadn’t had the time to reach Conkeldurr’s “just out of range” before the Fighting-type had launched himself, and Supersonic missed after. Del shot his strings, but like this it just uselessly hit the slab, and that didn’t slow down his flight. Ralia was about to Growl, but quickly would have noted that she couldn’t Growl and Teleport at the same time and (I’d assume) focused on Teleporting to get out of the way, successful by just the slightest. Ralia and Del managed to Teleport out of the way, and where they had stood the huge concrete mass slammed into the floor, cracking it and sending a wave of power through the room. At this time, Meditite, who had been floating off to the side, took advantage of the moment and got off a Confusion on Conkeldurr… except… ‘M-medi?’ Meditite blinked as Conkeldurr, despite having gotten the purple effect around his head that indicated a hit, hadn’t even flinched. He just grinned. He had probably suffered some Super-Effective damage, but…! Meditite looked a little discouraged. Froakie tried to Quick-Attack close to the beast, but it barely had any effect. Any hit left no notable marks, Conkeldurr didn’t even look like he noticed him. ‘Okay!’ Hector grinned. ‘That Ledyba is dangerous with its Supersonic. Slam it, Conkeldurr!’ He commanded, and Conkeldurr turned and glared at Ritz, grinning, grabbing the slabs of concrete and intended on jumping at him while swinging them both. Now, Conkeldurr doesn’t know “slam”, really, but any move where he hits the opponent with the slabs could qualify for “Rock Throw”, which meant it was immensely dangerous. But, Claire got to know his strategy now, though, and got to prepare for it. Ralia and Del could have appeared about anywhere within the ring of battle with Teleport. But, it’d take a bit to recover after having been relocated. ‘Ngh.’ Anise glared at the battle, looking unsure what to think.
