Experience: Adam enlisted at the age of 18 with the UNSC marine corps. Since enlisting Adam has seen combat against the insurrectionists multiple times. Ranging from small hit and run attacks by the rebels to large scale urban suppression. In the line of duty Adam has suffered two injures, one from a young woman who stabbed him in his side and the second from a frag grenade. 
Bio:Adam was born on Jericho VII to a retired major James Smith and his wife Dr Susan Smith. Adam is the eldest of four children with the second being his sister Alicia(17), his younger brother Thomas (16) and James (14).
Adam's parents ran a clinic for a tiny farming community, much of his youth consisted of him helping his parents in the clinic. Mainly due to his parents influence Adam spent a lot of his free time studying to become a doctor. While he was okay with becoming a doctor, the constant studying gave him very little time to make friends. Life would have ended rather boring for Adam, had his Uncle not gotten involved. During the fighting between the UNSC and insurrection, Adam's cousin Lewis was killed in action when his squad was ambushed. At Lewis's funeral Adam met many of his cousins squadmates. The first thing Adam noticed was a sense of brotherhood the Marines had. They spoke about the action they saw, the way Lewis always made the squad laugh. If nothing else that was Adam wanted. Not long after the funeral Adam enlisted, eventually training as a corpsman and seeing action with the rest of his unit.
Personality: On the battlefield Adam is a very serious individual, often coming across as rude. Adam will do his best to stabilize the wounded, no matter the danger he will run out to treat the wounded.
When not in combat Adam is an odd individual. He feels pride in being one of many who safe guard their families from the genocidal alien threat. He cares deeply for his squad, in his own weird little way.While he tries to be friendly with his squad some could see the stress of his duty weighs heavily on Adam. The only solace Adam has is the letters and video chats from his family. While he makes time to reread his letters Adam does enjoy a number of things to take his mind off the war.
