The group did not need many of themselves to voice on opinion to come to the conclusion that they would need to investigate the source of the smoke they were seeing. They slowed down their pace to keep an edge against potential enemies that might be at the stopping point, needing around one and a half hour to reach a position from which they could accurately tell what was going on over there. At this point, they had been on the road for approximately three hours, and the sun had began to move down from it's high perch in the early hours of the afternoon. To the luck of them, they could find themselves a vantage point where their shadows would not reveal their positions. The smoke was coming from a low spot between a few hills. Tall boulders had rolled themselves into a loose jumble around the area, serving as ample vantage points for the adventurers. They wouldn't even need to risk sending everyone close, since Torus' magical bird could simply fly above the spot and see what there was to be seen. Four humans dressed in leather armour had gathered near a fire with a few prairie hen cooking over it. A group of eight kobolds there too, taking some of the food for themselves at the very moment. The humans were talking amongst themselves, but from the position the adventurers were now, it was hard to tell what was being said. [hider=Mechanics&Rolls] The party dropped to slow pace and stealthed themselves for the three miles. They have arrived at the described scene, with none of the folk around the cooking fire showing any signs of noticing them. What do you do?
