It was such a beautiful day. Chibi was reclining comfortably on a hammock; A large banana split rested on his stomach. The fluffy monkey devoured the treat, and yet it never seemed to get smaller. A pleasant warm breeze stole the chill from the ice cream. Chibi had a huge spoonful with a massive chunk of banana encroaching upon his mouth; Anticipation filled the tiny simian. Tumbling off the weight machine he had been using as a bed, Chibi hit the floor scrambling. His head swiveling looking for the source of the voice in his sleep clouded mind. Dawning on him he realized exactly what happened. He muttered disconsolately, “Chibi.” He wasn't finished with his banana split, and was depressed that it didn't exist. Frowning he attempted to reconstruct the message that ripped him from sleep. Chibi knuckle-walked across the hall into the lounge. He raised the fruit bowl Serenity kept stocked for random snacking, crunching into an apple as he climbed onto a perch in a corner. “Chibi.” He greeted around a yawn.
