However, she didn't seem to take into account that their relative left and right sides were reversed, so she completely missed what he was trying to point out. Or at least, she missed it until he licked his fingers, at which point she decided to brush the spot of curry off her own cheek and do the same, since that was apparently normal. After that, she went right back to eating, brushing off the rest of her curry in a flash and swiftly moving onto her dessert. She was halfway through devouring a cinnamon roll when Yoshida's attention suddenly was directed elsewhere, and after a few moments of frowning angrily at some kind of commotion inside, he said to excuse him and swiftly headed back in. She craned her head, trying to make out the details of what was going on, but all she could really see was a bunch of people gathered around a toppled table. They were shouting loudly... That meant they were angry, right? People were even harder to deal with than usual when they were angry, so it was probably best if she just didn't get involved. Someone like her would only make things worse, no matter how hard she tried to help. Yoshida, though... As expected of a hero like him, he immediately jumped right into the middle of things, and although she couldn't quite hear what he was saying, everyone seemed to calm down and scatter after he intervened. She breathed a faint sigh of relief. It was good that they weren't fighting anymore, and even better that Yoshida didn't get hurt. Then again, Yoshida was really strong, so was there even anyone who could really hurt him? Even in their fight, the only damage he'd received had been caused by his own strength rather than hers... Either way, she was done with the rest of her meal now, so normally, she'd have just returned her tray of dishes and gone back to the classroom. But Yoshida had said to excuse him "for a moment," so that meant he was going to come back, right? He wanted her to stay there, right? So then she couldn't leave. But in that case, what was she supposed to do in the meantime? She sat in silence, contemplating this as her eyes and, subsequently, her attention slowly began to wander. She supposed that all she could really do was wait for him to come back. Oh, but that bird out there in the garden was pretty. Its blue feathers were very bright and distinctive, and the crest on its head looked fluffy. It was hopping around and chirping to itself, but then it took off quite suddenly and flew into the air. Fumika watched as it disappeared, and sighed to herself. She wished she could fly. The world probably looked even prettier from up above... [@Zeroth]
