Any specific parts sprang out at you as particularly bad?
Not really bad, but maybe explain what Dinas Affaraon is. I kind of figured it was the name of his home world but making it more obvious helps as well.
As far as A Glimpse of Truth goes. If he were facing a machina it would let him know weak points, strong points, what weapons in view were capable of. Stuff like that. It's less a supernatural power and more an instinctual knowledge of how stuff works so it only works on stuff he can detect. He might be able to deduce the location of a hidden weapon but he wouldn't know what that weapon is without seeing it or extrapolating from nearby systems. It also helps him do magic by helping figure out what is needed to get a desired result. Doesn't mean he can automatically do every spell though. You might know how to do a backflip but that doesn't mean you can do one. It takes practice.
I see. Just so long as you note that whenever he takes a look at some of the more abstract characters, like Helena for example, there be some setbacks in doing so. For example, Helena is an eldritch creature and while he can take the time to observe her and see what makes her tick, looking at an eldritch anything for too long is prone to put some mental strain. Other than that, it's fine by me.
