EDIT: He's done. Powerhouse Intermediate Tier
"I wouldn't talk down to me if I were you. With just a wave of my hand I could make you combust into a ball of flames. In fact, I'm kinda getting tired of looking at your face." Supervillain Name: Neuro Civilian Name: Martin Wilson Origin City: Hub City Hometown: Coast City Sex: Male Race: Metahuman (Caucasian) Height: 5'6 Weight: 109 pounds Age: 15 Birth Date: December 28th, 2003 -------- Costumed Appearance: Neuro wears a red cape (on the back of which is his icon drawn in black sharpie), a sleeveless gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black work boots. A black half mask, which covers his nose to his hairline, conceals his identity. Civilian Appearance: Martin is a short, scrawny, and unremarkable boy almost always seen wearing clothing a size too large for him. Bruises and bandages can often be found on his face, proof of his status as a bullied social outcast. His black hair is cut in an unflattering way which makes his forehead seem bigger than it is, he has piercing gray eyes which are almost always bloodshot, and his face is almost always twisted into a scowl. He is prone to shouting his opponent's (superhero) name, making almost ridiculous threats, and cracking jokes and one-liners. However, when he's really, truly pissed off by his enemy, it's easy to tell; he stops shouting names, his threats become much more serious, and his humor goes missing. Civilian Personality: Contrasting heavily with his theatrical supervillain persona, Martin is a stoic and seemingly emotionless young man, his face a perpetual frown. He doesn't speak unless spoken to, and sometimes not even then. Constantly bullied for his small frame, standoffish attitude, and just about anything, Martin secretly resents the majority of people and views them as lower than him, though deep inside he feels inadequate and wishes he could be better. Super abilities: -Skills: Due to three years spent on the track team, Martin can run quite fast. Nowhere near super speed levels, but fast when compared to normal humans. -Powers: Martin has access to various psychic abilities. These include pyrokinesis (the ability to create and control flames), telekinesis (the ability to move objects with one's mind), telepathy (the ability to read minds and send physic messages), shielding (the ability to create a barrier to defend against attacks), and levitation (not quite flight, but close enough). -Gadgets: N/A -Weapons: N/A -Weaknesses: Despite having various powers, Martin is as weak as a normal human, preferring to use his shielding power to stop attacks. Once you get past the shield, he's susceptible to any and all attacks, and all it would take to take him down is a well-placed punch to the face. In addition, his shield can break if damaged enough, be it through a series of attacks or one very strong attack. Finally, despite his narcissism, he's still unsure of himself and is quick to anger when insulted (in costume, of course; in his civilian guise he doesn't respond); it'd be easy to exploit this in combat by berating him. Civilian Occupation: High school student. --------- Character History/Origin: Martin was born in Hub City to a pair of college students, who had to drop out in order to take care of him. His family was lower middle class, living in a rather undesirable part of town, though it was better than living in the Wedge. When he was four, his father was killed by a drunk driver whilst walking to work. Realizing that Martin would have a better life outside of Hub City, his mother sent him to Coast City in order for him to live with his grandparents. The death of his father and his mother sending him away stuck with him, giving him abandonment issues. On top of this, his grandparents were strict on him and berated him for the smallest failure or mistake, causing him to develop an inferiority complex. This inferiority complex was further strengthened when he began elementary school, where he was constantly bullied for various reasons and withdrew from his peers, causing them to torment him even more. At the age of 14, Martin and his class went on a field trip to a canyon. Whilst exploring some caves, he was separated from his class. Trying to find his way out, Martin fell into a pit, and it was there that he discovered his powers by levitating himself out. He never spoke of this to anyone, but tested his abilities later in an abandoned warehouse, discovering some of his other abilities, and discovered his telepathy at school. For a year and a half, he's been tempted to use his powers to take revenge on those that put him down, though he's constantly resisted the urge. However, with the sudden boom in superpowered heroes in the world, he finds that he can't help himself from using his powers for something, if only to fight the urge by destroying a few things. And after all: every hero needs a villain. Optional Information: N/A ---------- Nemesis: Hoping for Echo, but if not then he'll just stick to terrorizing the general population.
