The Nowhere

World Theme: The Nowhere as he called it was a collection of things he had experienced throughout his four year existence. In the Nowhere he looked far less human than he did in their reality. Crossing realities was always such a strange experience because of the way they interacted and affected each other. A part of him searched for some kind of meaning of the things that would someday help him ascend, but those days would be far into a future he couldn’t possibly see yet. Umbra passed his reflection as he watered his garden that seemed to defy gravity. Outside the glass house was the milky way galaxy glimmering across each window. His own body and face seemed to reflect the stars more, twinkling into an existence rather than simply appearing to exist. Which were two vastly different things. He glided across the pathway as he had each flower drink water. He didn’t actually know why he did it here. The garden was a manifestation of imaginary, abstract thoughts. But it was, what was the word relaxing? He could feel in the depths of his existence that a grudge was beginning to be born. He felt the world out there was conjuring, birthing more hatred than what it had before. The time of Love had seemed to be dying. He wondered if the Primordial of the Concept of Love had died and was wandering as a Void Child stumbling like him. Above him in the dome shape of the ceiling he could see the apartment like a ceiling, warped and bending into shape. There seemed to be activity as people awoke. He could feel their conscious coming into existence. It must be nice to exist. He existed. He felt he existed. But at the same time something reminded him he did not exist. Much like this place existed, but didn’t. Existence such a strange concept and been on his thoughts recently. He wondered why. He felt his phone go off. He stored it in his Primordial body so that way it could work in The Nowhere. Aimi was calling them all to go to the Lounge. He wondered why. It wasn’t like he could go out in a non emergency situation. He could feel their Grudge, their Hate through him. They bubbled to the surface like the depths of something more. A universal sharing. Umbra put his phone back into his body. He didn’t need to eat. He didn’t need to sleep. He found task to busy himself when they were doing nothing, but he was curious to see why they had been called to a meeting.
Lounge
To an outsider's view whenever Umbra came into a room, most simply saw a black circular shadow on the floor. Till it began to bubble and Umbra took shape. A man with almond shaped eyes and wispy hair that was almost, almost, cloud like. His body took the shape of priest like vestments with their own unique personal designs. Umbra took a look at all of them. He couldn’t necessarily sit down anywhere, he had no shape to do so. He simply glided over to the couch behind others. “Curious,” Umbra speaks slowly, “I feel your curiosity.” Serenity looks at Umbra. “Well that’s because today is an extra special exploration and bonding day,” Serenity tells Umbra, she smiles at the rest, “It’s a secret till Howard gets here.” As she thought about it though. How was he actually supposed to go? She looked away with a nervous smile. Actually how were many of them were supposed to go? She guessed she could simply assign the most looking ones to come with her. That be Garfield, herself, Dominic, and Duke. That seemed more than enough. But she’d wait for Howard at least. Instead she skipped over to the kitchen bar area and started a pot of coffee for those who hadn’t had any yet. They hadn’t had a moment of slowness of fun in a long while. She wanted to start to form bonding relationships, rather than what felt at times like a room of awkward strangers who knew somethings about each other. But not enough. The only way this team was going to get itself together is if they stopped treating each other with some distance. She smiled at Garfield, flipping the hair of her black wig she chose to match with her outfit. “How did everyone sleep?” Serenity asked, she sometimes felt like she was the only one trying. Umbra stared at Serenity. “I don’t sleep,” Umbra told her. She narrowed her eyes and scowled at him. “How did everyone Who Can sleep, sleep?” Serenity asked.
