The apartment was calm when she woke up, everything was in it`s place, as it always had been. The large window next to her bed shone sunlight over her and a good chunk of the apartment. It was a new day, the start of a change. It was making her nostalgic. This was her home for so long, it was comfortable. It was time to leave however. Getting out of bed she made her way to the small kitchen and opened the cupboard above the sink. Removing the coffee canister she brewed a cup in the coffee pot. As always she took to her old routine of making coffee and sitting with a book in front of the windows look out of her apartment. It was a calming activity in the morning. It kept her centered. Sky wasn`t much for yoga or any strenuous exercise in the morning. That sort of stuff felt good after but she never felt motivation to do them. She worked out as much as she could a week but it wasn`t essential to her daily needs. Perhaps the synchronization may fix that. Maybe Solace enjoyed activities that are a lot more active in nature. Once breakfast was done much in the same fashion, it was time. Sky packed up all she could, kill her she really didn`t like the idea of people that she didn`t know helping her move. It was going to take a few hours to get everything packed. The majority of it was mostly knick knacks that she had collected over the years. Some held sentimental value, such as a friend or loved one giving them to her. Others were things that she had picked up along the way. In her travels she loved the different experiences verse possessions. Every now and then she picked one up, but most of the time they were things that most people wouldn`t choose. One of her favorites was a necklace given to her by an old woman in a bakery. When she had taken residence in the town for awhile it had become a place she visited often. When she announced she`d be leaving soon, the old woman had given it to her as a parting gift on her last day. The necklace had a simple black leather chord, at the end was a beautiful glass pendent. It shorn with swirls of varying blues and clear glass. Her husband was a glass blower so it was truly something she`d cherished over the years. It was a gift of love. There were other treasures, but that one was one that she kept safe. It took awhile to pack all of it, she contemplated calling Luca to help, after all he had offered, and she did know him. If she called there was no doubt he`d come, but that was also why she didn`t. There was a lot he didn`t know about her anymore and the things in this apartment showed some of the ways she`d grown. It was important to learn more slowly, packing her stuff with him might reveal more than she`s currently comfortable with. Not to mention that she`d grown a hell of a lot more independent anyway, her own stubbornness wouldn`t let her. Around 1 in the afternoon the movers came and helped her move everything out. Once it was empty she took a moment to take everything in and leave. She returned the key to the tenant supervisor of the building and proceeded to drive back to her new home. An email had alerted her this morning via her phone of what home she`d be staying in on the grounds. The movers would already be moving everything in as she got there. Luckily they had parking in an overhang next to the residential area. It made it not too much of a journey to the house. Even so, she doubted that she`d be seeing much of her car in the coming months. Who knew what side effects she`d be experiencing. If a bottle of medication told her not to get behind a vehicle, than it probably wasn`t an awesome idea to do so after undergoing a sync with a past ancestor! It was late afternoon turning evening by the time she had a livable set up in the house. Even though there were boxes everywhere, she had to say, having a bedroom separate from the rest of the living space might be kind a fun. Right now she was getting tired but not nearly too tired for what was to come. She was ready to sync! If that still was tomorrow, well she`d have to wait, but if they were getting down to it tonight. She was going to have a blast!
