Conor McGregor doesn't have much of a chance in the ring. What annoys me is his fanbase who ardently support him while knowing little to nothing about combat sports. If this were a real boxing bout between two supremes in their primes, it would probably be Spence or Brook, Charlo or Lara, or maybe even Lemieux of Golovkin (depending on the weight division) fighting Conor to which I have no doubt will put the Irishman to sleep in at most a few rounds. Even any top ten welterweights could probably smash him to bits and easily outbox him. Though then again isn't some ordinary match - it's a money run between two big names of the sport which is why it's drawn so much attention. I got Floyd winning by points since he's a defensive genius and could probably even hurt Conor as he did to Gatti and Hatton from his slick right hand and checkhooks. I was tempted for a while to say that Floyd could RTD him, though we'll see. There's so much hype which is what I don't really understand either because realistically it'll probably be a boring fight. No thanks - I'd rather watch Cotto v. Kamegai which will be on the same date. There's also Golovkin v. Canelo and Lomachenko v. Rigondeaux which are also big super-fights that are bound not to disappoint this year. It's been a really good year in boxing though.
