Don't ask me, it's YOUR character. And honestly, I don't know how else to explain this to you: their assault rifles can't do shit. Hector was hit and could still go on, Kisheto was hit and survived. Know why? Because they have advanced (standard) armor. The assault rifles are a knives brought to a Star Wars fight. And the concept of automated weaponry? Honestly? Technology can let cars fly, but can't figure out how to shoot small pieces of metal at rapid speeds? The following sentence shall reiterate a point above because obviously needs this: They have armor that can let you take gunshots and press forward in a fight, but not the weaponry the armor was built to negate? Why else do you think Hector had no problem charging head on with 12 men against an entire gang?

And did you forget that there are monsters in the world? That a GOOD portion of the military's purpose in modern times was to secure the land from monster threats? What would they use against monsters, huh? How about guns that can get the job done but aren't too advanced for the standard... I don't know... Maybe like ballistic assault rifles. 

And do I need to explain the concept of exceptions? FUCK dude! Lemme list shit on rapid fire mode:
