The confused whispers that emerged after the shrunken head dissipated invaded the group of teens' ears. Ally found the strength to let go of the pole she was leaning on and cover her ears. Despite this, the whispers still infiltrated through. Like the others, she couldn't really make out the words it said, but it seemed like the words were English. In all honesty, Ally really didn't want to know what it meant. Marcus had burned the convict, and although it ended the conflict, Ally felt torn. The smell of burning flesh and seeing his skin melt off of his face was extremely hard to watch, but at the same time she struggled to look away. Part of her had wanted to help the convict through the assault, but she knew that Marcus's way of dispatching the convict was completely necessary. Still, she wished it hadn't been so gruesome. Then, the convict who had moments ago been writhing and screaming in pain glowed a bright blue until he materialized into thin air. Ally's jaw dropped. Then Percy's body did the same until he vanished into thin air. Kurt's yell pierced hee thoughts as he questioned their safety. Ally threw up a thumbs up and refocused on the materialization. "They were fake?" Ally murmured, and looked to the ground. She then began to chuckle, which quickly grew into a relieved laugh, "Hey, they were fake! This... No one died!" Her laugh of relief quickly faded as she pondered something else. We were hurt by things that didn't exist? Ally pushed away from the pole and walked over to Marcus and Kurt, feeling extreme gratitude to both. "Thanks you guys, I would've been a goner if you hadn't shown up."
