Just wanted to see how many people on here would be interested in being part of an old-fashioned RASSLIN' RP, set in the golden era of professional wrestling, the 1980s. The RP would be built around an 80s wrestling territory stepping up to the national stage, with the players as the stars of the promotion. 

The advantage of the 1980s time period is not only that it's awesome, it also allows for a more RP-friendly structure. 80s wrestling relied less on action-packed 2-hour episodes of weekly television, making big angles and matches more rare. So our focus in the RP would be on the major television specials (like Saturday Night's Main Event or Clash of the Champions), and pay-per-view events. 

Before each major event I will give a run down of the card in the OOC section, listing all the matches and segments, along with the finishes. Players can then go off and work on their match/segment and post it in the IC. Once all the segments for the show are done, I'll compile them together in a single post. The completed show. 

So let me know if you're interested, and feel free to post some ideas for gimmicks/characters here. I'll have the CS template when the official RP thread is made. If you want, you can probably have a couple of different characters, just to help pad out the roster.
