[b]Personality[/b]: Adventurous is a good place to start describing Ryan. He's got a passion for the distant and unknown, and wants to see it all. Along his journey he has met many different people, and been instilled with many different ideologies and thoughts, many of which shape who he is today. Above all, he is a family kid, and will always stop by home every once in a while to see how life is going for them, or to surprise them with a gift or two.

[b]History[/b]: Ryan was the first born to Leon and Michelle Ignia. The family lived in the Sevii Islands, a quiet and peaceful corner of the world in which to raise their son. His father wasn't around much, as he had a job studying Pokemon in a distant region, leaving his mother to take care of him most of the time. It became clear soon, however, that this arrangement would not work. After several years, his father's job became permanent, and the family soon moved to a region relatively unknown to a good portion of the world.

After he began Trainers School, his parents had another child, his little brother Brent. When not at school, Ryan was the one to look after him most of the time, as his father was usually away on work and his mother was the Foreman of the Regional Power Plant. However, with his tenth birthday approaching, he would eventually have to say goodbye.

And when that day came, he was ready. He'd decided on his starter long before, choosing the Fire Type Cyndaquil from the available selection. As he set off on his journey, his sights were set on more than just the region he called home. He wanted to travel the world and see all the wonders it could hold. After some training, he set off for the Kanto Region, where he began travelling and taking on the Indigo League Gym Circuit. In Pewter City, he defeated the Gym Leader and earned the Boulder Badge.

After that, he began wondering about his options on what to do next. Not simply what Gym to take on, but what he wanted to do on his journey otherwise. It was in Pewter that he began to study Pokemon Breeding, and began working to become a Pokemon Breeder on his travels.

After earning the Thunder Badge in Vermilion City, he traveled to his former home, the Sevii Islands, where his Cyndaquil, named Kindle, had finally evolved into its final evolutionary stage, Typhlosion. His partner caught the eyes of an old woman, who saw great potential in the Fire Type. She invited Ryan to train under her and help Kindle learn the Ultimate Fire Type Move: Blast Burn.

Two weeks later, the two had mastered the Ultimate Move, and returned to Kanto to continue their Journey. In Saffron City they defeated Sabrina and earned the Marsh Badge, and while there learned of the different sights in the Johto Region. So he boarded the Magnet Train and set off for the Johto Region to continue his journey.

After defeating the Gym Leaders of Azalea and Olivine, he returned home with a special gift in tow, just in time for his little brother's tenth birthday. That gift was a Pokemon Egg he'd bred from his own treasured partner, which soon hatched into a Cyndaquil under his brother's care. Afterward, he returned to his travels through Johto, his sights set on Ecruteak City.

[b]Background Info[/b]: Kindle was Ryan's Starter Pokemon, and has been with him throughout his entire journey. He is his number one irreplaceable partner and friend, and is one of his strongest Pokemon on his team. The two started off rocky, but over time their bond has become clear, and anyone who doesn't see it is blind. Kindle learned the Ultimate Fire Type Attack, Blast Burn, from training with Ryan under a woman named Kimberly while in the Sevii Islands.

[b]Background Info[/b]: Claira was one of Ryan's first Breeding successes, and she was originally intended for a Trainer he'd bred his Jolteon and Leafeon for. However, Claira was extremely shy, which the trainer was not fond of. He left the Eevee under Ryan's care, whom she bonded closely with, which eventually led to her evolving into an Espeon. While she is powerful, she is still extremely wary and shy with strangers.
