Fenton realised that introspection and a growing crowd didn't mix well, he was enjoying the company of his new listener Veronica, but as another male entered the bar he began to feel a little self aware, he was a P.I. spilling his thoughts to strangers where anyone could be listening, it was probably best that he got going. After a little more small talk with Veronica about her job and the city in general, he stood up off his stool and paid for the entire bottle of bourbon, he left his card with his number on the underside of the pile of notes he used, just in case Rowen was interested [@Indy Cooper].

After leaving the bar, he went straight back to his office to get some paperwork done. He could barely focus on his work without occasionally thinking of Michel, and how he is going to act the next time he sees her.
