[@Spanner][@Rune_Alchemist] Vander started moving shortly after Lena dove to assist the endangered rider. He held no anger towards Cain. He simply disliked a messy first impression with a new people. The Watcher stepped in to assist where needed, but Lena appeared to have everything under control for the most part. He felt some surprise at how calm he was under pressure. Warrick would never have been this calm in any real life situation. Maybe it was because he was in the game? He always had incredible focus while playing. "Perhaps," Vander responded to Cain's last statement. "Either that or we are exactly what we are." He scanned the horizon for anyone else that may have seen this situation unfold. Unwanted guests would only cause more problems. The rider had been traveling at a quick pace, so either he was running from something or he was delivering something urgent. He had no responsibility for the rider, however if anything happened to his team there would be hell to pay. He trusted Lena to handle the rider well enough and for Tania to add some levity to the situation. He could tell Cain would be fine for now. "At least he isn't dead," Vander commented neutrally. "It's possible he didn't even hear you, Cain." Vander picked up the satchel and hat of the rider and returned them to him. "Here, this must be important." He could care less what the contents were. The only objective here was the gather intel and goodwill. "We can get you to the village safe and sound. However, we are new to the area and find ourselves without a map due to unfortunate circumstances. We need information about where we are. Would you be bothered if you told us while we make our way to a warm and safe place to stay the night?"
