Resistance would prevent you from setting him or any other mage on fire so long as they have enough Od left to run through their circuits. You can set the stuff [i]around[/i] them on fire though, or even their clothes if you want (please don't actually do this, I can't think of a faster way to kill the drama than having an enemy Master stop, drop, and roll because their pants are on fire) xD
