While most seemed to be having a rather..."peaceful" awakening into this new world, Christopher did not. Sitting up from the dirt in a cold sweat, he struggled to fill his lungs. He tried to steady himself, laying his head against one knee. What had just happened? Some kind of nightmare? He couldnt be sure. He grumbled, finally taking a look about. "What...the hell?" This wasnt his room...wasnt his bed...hell this wasnt even his city. His breathing was finally finding its rhythm, and this was only more unsettling. He hadnt been able to breath without a respirator for months...and now... A deep breath filled his lungs. The sweet smell of the wind, without a hint of chemicals in the air. The doctors had said he would never breath properly again, so how could he..? Christopher quickly checked himself over, examining his skin, his body, and finding it near perfect... he was healed! How could this just... His eyes fell on those who woke with him, and he was in awe. They werent...normal. they looked like they walked out of one of his videogames! But that wasnt possible. Neither was healing like he had. Even his ears had been healed...for the modt part...why was one pointed? Why was he questioning this?! Quickly standing, he shifted uneasily, but nodded. This was indeed incredible. And it seemed the others, atleast most of them, were having a similar reaction. So he wasnt alone. Having heard the stray mumblings of the group, someone finally spoke up. A women, having introduced herself as "Willow". Well, atleast she seemed to know something about all this. She quickly invited them to follow, and lead them to what appeared to be a cafeteria, or dining hall. Upon seeing the beverages left for them, Christopher only then realized how parched he really was. He quickly found a cup with what he assumed, and hoped, was simple water, taking a small sip. He remained standing, not quite ready to accept all this. He was half tempted to chalk this up to a simple dream, brought on by the morphine. But everyhing felt so right...so he would give things a chance...
