I play to make others lose."

Personality:
Who exactly is the Red King? Without the label, who is Franklin Ezekiel Alphonse Redd? There has only been a select few to understand him and only a few to see all of his emotions. Franklin is almost distant to people save for certain individuals. His entirety isn’t secrecy, but he prefers that his attitude, emotions, and mood are based only on rumors. People will exaggerate. It’s a common thing with humans. No one will ever know the truth of his mannerisms or behavior. This cleans his slate and does make first impressions a lot easier. Franklin tries to find the easiest route to victory. Everything is a game and he only wishes to add more trophies to the figurative shelf in his mind. The Red King is a gambling man. He enjoys the thrill of games, and better yet, he does get aroused from winning. Franklin is strategic and cunning, his methods of winning are usually by utilizing a well-planned out thought process. Chess is one of his favorite games given the many different combinations to victory. He might even relate real-life situations back to his favorite game. This is common from the Red King. Not only does he love games, but he enjoys acting. Most likely this stems on early childhood events; however, the man has become an admirable actor or liar. Whichever you prefer to call the man, he does have a silver tongue. Disguises and accents are all part of his acting talent. Though charming and well-dressed the Red King is, he does have a temper. He will sometimes respond with violence if events aren’t handled in his desired way. Besides Greed and Lust, Wrath might be the man’s biggest sin. Franklin is aggressive and can show this even in his mannerisms. Don’t make the Red King angry.

History:
Franklin did not suffer from childhood trauma. He learned through his parent's actions and behaviors. The current Red King has only known royalty and has not experienced poverty or any other financial failure. Everything has been given to him in a silver spoon. Any man or woman would be envious of his life. The Red King enjoyed every aspect. The expensive cuisine along with the extraordinary service was ideal. Franklin even had his own servants. Individuals were in charge of cleaning his sleeping area as well as feeding him when he was hungry. At a young age, he enjoyed the company of his assistants. Franklin friended the people that supported him. They were more attentive to him than his parents, which he strived to gain time to time. His parents weren't aware of their surroundings. Franklin would always hide in corners of the room. He would watch them converse about arts, money, and other sins. Sometimes it was confusing for the boy's ears, but it was nice to learn about them. During some moments, Franklin could see the aggressiveness and rudeness of his mother and father. Franklin's mother was not polite in the slightest. She degraded her servants with harsh words. If they did not complete a task well enough or to her standards, they would receive a slap and constant rant regarding how pathetic they were. Servants would break into tears in front of his mother. Franklin did not expect this, but would keep watching. His mother was extremely cunning and plotted against her servants if they wronged her. One unlucky servant corrected her by simply fixing her grammar. "It's "my friends and I," my Queen?" This upset Franklin's mother. By word of mouth and gossip, the Queen had released a rumor about the female servant. The rumor revolved around the idea that her children were born before she was married and she was a working girl. Devasted by rumors and further harassment, the female servant committed suicide a week later. Franklin's father was another case. He was sterner and had no tolerance for mistakes. His father knew how to discipline his servants and knew how to demonstrate fear into their hearts. Anger in his voice was deafening to hear. No servant could stand still when they saw any hint of rage. Begging and pleading were the most appropiate responses. Franklin's father took no pity. He punished his servants severly by ordering his guards. Sometimes he would direct the type of punishment or he would let his guards make the decision. Some of the servants would have to return the next day with a missing arm and had to work. It was brutal and unapologetic. Other times, on his father's worst day, an excution would happen right then and there. Whether he would do it himself or his guards would kill the individual. It wasn't always servants... Franklin watched a lot of murders. It was traumatizing for a regular child, but he saw two people he admired. It was hard to accept it, but knowing their behaviors, he didn't want to upset them. Although once Franklin was becoming of age, his parents began showing more attention to him. It was more to the result that any moment Franklin could inherit the throne and the kingdom. They taught him everything and demonstrated that there was an order. The King and Queen taught Franklin that the Redd Family was at the top. Everybody else belonged at the bottom of their shoes. Politics, sword-fighting, and other royalty responsibilities were courses he needed to learn. Franklin couldn't be any happier; all he wanted was to spend time with his family. It was suddenly that the Red Queen and King brought a test to their son. They ordered him to execute five of his childhood servants. His parents noticed his softness to his subordinates and knew they couldn't have someone befriend scum. It was a sign of his trust to the crown. Franklin stood bewildered with no response. All five of his servants were kneeled down on the floor with a bag over his head. Franklin had been given a giant axe. His ears rang from their pleads; Franklin's parents kept yelling and shouting for him to complete his task. So much stress began to build up in Franklin. It was then that he snapped. Franklin killed four out of the five servants. The Red King and Queen waited for the last execution, they questioned his hesitation. Franklin explained he wanted the last one alive. "She will experience the pain of having to serve me. She will know the fear of knowing I can kill her at any moment. The death of her friends will forever haunt her." His parents applauded Franklin's ruthlessness. The couple was definetly amazed that their son would be so vicious. Little did they know that the last servant was Franklin's favorite. His parents didn't pay much to his interests. They just shoved their likes and dislikes onto their child. Franklin was beginning to realize this. Looking at the bodies behind him, he knew he already inherited his father's aggression and his mother's wit. This is what he knew, but he was going to do things his way.
Currently.... The Red King, Franklin Ezekiel Alphonse Redd, was a dictator. His behavior was more spontaneous than his parents. He did give people a choice unlike the king and queen before him. Franklin enjoys games and he pushed this onto the people that upset him. They had a choice to win and live, or lose and die. It was a tiny aspect that Franklin put to remind himself that he wasn't his father. He gave his victims a chance. He locked away his wife, The Queen of Hearts, for intruding on him and speaking off to him. She had become a great nuisance for a while. It is expectant that the Queen of Hearts isn't fully at fault. Franklin knows there is a person or group who shows much promise in challenging him. He acknowledges they exist and framed his wife, but he decided to take the bait. They are not aware he knows that they exist which will be a game-changer. Knowing he would need extra protection, he hired a few skilled retainers loyal to the Redd Kingdom.
