An ominous presence had filled his soul. It existed in every people’s mind, yet only a few managed to witness its magnificence. Legends said that only those shuddered by the current of time could see it. Those poor souls that were left in angst as blood and pain consumed them. It is a promise of freedom A glimpse of new world A light stretching into oblivion A shadow within mortal hearts And once its sight met the eyes, one wish, deep within their souls, was fulfilled. One that brought them in front of its powerful presence. Life…

Class: Dragoon

Hans Joachim

“Hmmgghh-uuaahh” Hans’s head wasn’t in its good state as he groaned. There were things that were amissed in his memories. It took him a few minutes to find it back. As his senses began to come online, once more, when he thought it never would, so was his memories. ’Oh yeah…’ The boy instantly shot his hand up, reaching for his nape. It was in contact with the ground, and in one piece. Apparently, he was lying on the ground, judging by the pressure applying on his back. The sun was radiating into his pale skin, the birds chirping, the wind blowing through each of his hair strands, as an ease and gentle way to wake up the young boy. His hearings became more and more clearly, and then his muscles began to move. The sound of people talking, the smell of lilacs somewhere around him. And then finally, Hans’s eyes shot open. To see the new world for the first time ”Hmmggh…is this my city?…No…” He was still confused. Glancing around, to his surprise, he came to realize that some of the people around him weren’t human. There was a centaur of some kind, an elve, and even a birdman. Well, there were still humans in this place, but who knows if behind those human masks were some kind of angels, demons, wyverns or goats. Both physically and mentally. Hans immediately checked himself, to see if he’d turned to some sort of wolfman or anything of the sort. It did not appear to apply to him, thankfully. And it appeared that he was given quite some items. A sword, a knife and armor. A voice suddenly interrupted his thoughts. A woman introduced herself as Willow, and invited him, and those around him who were as baffled as he did to some sort of picnic table. She also mentioned guild. Is this some sort of RPG game? But it did not really make sense. He remembered almost everything, everything up until the point when he saw that ominous thing. He remembered the split second when his neck snapped. He remembered that he…died. Then was this all a dream? Well, he’d find out soon. As he ventured inside, he was met by that birdman he saw earlier, asking his thoughts on the subject. ”This? It was not bad, but I require an explanation. A clear one.” Totally better than something like a prison or a claustrophobic room. That was usually the case when you wake up in an unfamiliar place, as seen in some movies. But they had a point when they said not to believe things like that. Hans approached the table with some beverages offered to him. There weren’t anything in particular that did not suit his taste here, or in general, being the athlete he was. The only exception would be alcoholic drinks. The boy picked up the nearest drink there, which was green tea, while he tried to discover new functions of his new body. For some reasons, in his mind existed a new knowledge, a spell. Known to him as a speed enhancing spell, or simply by the self-explanatory name: ‘Overboost’. How convenient, given how he was already much faster than his peers back then. If this was some sort of game, then this might be his biggest strength. [@Mega Birb]
