[list]The Reach, being the most populous region with plentiful harvests and great wealth, can field impressive armies with an available levy of at least some 70'000 men. These levies are spread across the vassal houses of House Tyrell, an example being House Hightower which can alone call over 9'000 men to arms. Plate armour is regularly used by troops from the Reach, offering good protection to the wearers.

A good horse to foot ratio is likely in the Reach, given its strong traditions of chivalric values and knighthood combined with the favourable environment for breeding the horses themselves.

House Redwyne of the Arbor, one of the principal houses sworn to House Tyrell, commands one of the strongest military fleets in Westeros. Their fleet is comprised of some 200 warships, and they are said to have perhaps even five times that number of merchant vessels for trade.[/list]
