[@Agent 47] Finally finished this guy. Let me know if I should fix or change anything.

Raymond

Name: Raymond "Ray" Rivers Nickname/Alias: Ray Age: 16 Gender Male Race Human Appearance At first glance, Ray really isn't that impressive - he stands at 5'5, looks pretty scrawny, and most of his face is hidden by his long bangs. His hair is a light blond, and he keeps the style in a bowl cut, mainly to hide his eyes. His body isn't very scarred, but is extremely pale, and his hands are an absolute mess of callouses and cuts. Speaking of hands, they also seem to be extremely ashy compared to his body, most likely the fault of the chalk he puts on them. He usually dresses in either the school uniform, a suit, or large grey clothes that cover as much of his body as possible. His emotions are easy to read, even without seeing his eyes, as his mouth and facial features are extremely animated. A majority of the time, he is lightly blushing after embarrassing himself. He gives off a very "nerdy" atmosphere, and is an absolute pushover and a coward when it comes to himself. He rarely gets angry. Despite his appearance, however, Raymond is an absolute monster physically. He weighs 208 pounds on average, a feat he has accomplished after years of training. The reason most people never see this is due to the fact that he constantly wears heavy clothing, and his muscles being more dense than massive. This isn't the only surprise, however - Ray hides his eyes behind his bangs due to the fact that they are, unlike the rest of his face, completely unemotional. He could smile as much as he likes, but his eyes will remain cold and unchanging, leading him to think other people would feel uncomfortable with them. His eyes are amber. You could insult him to his face, and as long as you say please for something, he'll almost always help. This, along with his extremely strong work ethic, has earned him a place as one of the most hard working memebers of the EAT class... That doesn't necessarily mean he is the smartest though. Since Ray isn't the smartest guy around (He's actually on the lower end in terms of intelligence), he instead places heavy value on his body, and has trained it to be as strong as possible. Weightlifting has become one of his main hobbies as a result, and he can usually be found in the gym. Ray frequently battles with his insecurities and occasionally spends days at a time interacting with as few people as possible. This pairs up with his extreme anxiety, leading to extreme stress before important events. Ray rarely holds a strong opinion on a matter, and even if he does, he will usually lie and agree with someone in order to avoid confrontation, something he greatly fears. Ray tries his best to help others, something he has grown to love, and even has adopted it as one of his main hobbies. If he ever saw a person in need, he would do his best to protect them, and may even attack the assailant. Ray is very self conscious about his height, and one of the reasons he works out is to compensate. Ray hates when people are angry at him, and dislikes fighting for this reason. Ray is sensitive, and will always do his best to make sure that others feel better about themselves. This was instilled from a childhood of cliche cartoons and has also helped drive him towards his strong sense of justice. Ray is unique among most kids his age in the fact that he can sit still and do nothing for ridiculously long periods of time, a skill he developed during his rest days. This also functions as extreme patience, and Ray is able to wait hours on end for something he wants. While he can do this, he more often than not busies himself by cleaning the surrounding area or doing pushups, until he has nothing left to do. As expected of someone as strong as he is, Ray is obsessive over his workout and diet, refusing to eat anything that is not included in his diet plan and working out for at least 3 hours a day, 6 days a week. Likes Weightlifting, Reading, Working, Being Liked by others, Insects, Cartoons, Oats Dislikes Fighting, Studying, Complex Math, Cardio, Doing Badly at something, People Who Don't Like Cartoons Fears Confrontation, Embarrassing Himself, Failure, Fire Backstory Ray was born to a middle class family in Death City, an only child, and beloved by his parents. He was a precious miracle to them, and they were sure to make nothing hurt their little bundle of joy. Ray's early years are of little consequence, since he never interacted with a single person besides his parents. Even then, they left him alone for hours on end every weekday, both having some job they never talked about around the young boy. With nothing else to do (Or, more precisely, not knowing what ellse he could do), Ray simply sat still most of the day, in his room, alone. This was his life until the age of 5 - while his father continued to work, his mother stayed at home, and began to home school the young Ray. The law requires that a child be educated, and Ray's parents refused to send him to a public school - hell, even a private school would be too risky. His mother had a background in teaching, so she would home school their precious child. Ray never exctly understood the material, however, no matter how hard he tried. Multiplication stumped him until he was nearly 10, and he probably would have been held back several times had his mother been less lenient towards her child. He was taught the bare minimum, and most of his days consisted of getting migraines over simple questions or watching cartoons, something he loved to do. Ashamed of himself, the ten year old Ray decided to do the few things he knew he wasn't terrible at - Music and Gym. Music was still something he didn't excel at, but he did his best to find an instrument he was decent in. He would spend a couple months, maybe even a year, getting decent at a single instrument, before feeling like he had no natural talent and moving on towards another. "Gym" was more akin to recess while Ray was home schooled - he would be given an hour a day to run around the house, something he was usually forbidden to do. Ray never really enjoyed it, but he could do it better than he could study. After a few weeks of running until he could barely stand, his father eventually took notice - a few days later, Ray's father was building a power rack and a squat rack in one of the empty rooms of the house. His son enjoyed exercising - hell, he was trying his hardest! Ray's father wouldn't let his son lose the one thing he was good at. And, after receiving his father's instructions on proper form, Ray began to exercise. Ray was constantly exercising, focused on improving himself and doing something he was good at. He begged his mother to start cooking specific meals, weigh them to make sure how many calories and grams of protein were present. He loved to eat oats, as they were filling, but also had lots of protein for the few calories they contained. He slowly became better at mathematics, after using it to calculate his calorie intake and deficit. Eventually, he became truly impressive physically, possessing a body that most bodybuilders would approve of. But this did bring out one of his insecurities: He noticed how short he was. At 15, he was only 5'5, and while some would call that average, Ray could only see it as short for a guy. But despite this, he was proud of himself. He wasn't the smartest, or the most talented, but his parents constantly praised him for his strength and hard work. Whenever they went to get groceries, Ray was always able to carry the heaviest with ease. On his 16th birthday, his parents got him several presents, as they did every year: an ant farm, fresh gym chalk, a new track suit, and a small speaker (He was currently seeing if he was talented at playing the piano, but played on a keyboard instead of an actual piano). Ray immediately donned the tracksuit and went out to run, thanking his parents as he did so. He hated running, but he wanted to show his parents that he appreciated the gift. By the time he made it back to his house, it was burning in a fiery inferno. The next three days were spent at the Death City orphanage, and Ray was inconsolable. His parents had died in the fire, and everything he ever knew, his entire childhood, burned in the flames. Life couldn't get worse. Ray never considered anything extreme, like suicide, but having the only two people you truly knew just... die, was extremely traumatic. On the third day, just before he went to bed, he received a call from a random number, with an area code he didn't recognize in the slightest. On the other end was his father. Apparently, the strange work his father was doing was extremely dangerous - he was an undercover cop, and had spent the last 16 years getting a decent position inside of the mafia. He was giving the police tips on crimes they would commit and, after finding out, they tried to kill him. He and Ray's mother faked their deaths, and the government relocated them and gave them a new identity. Since Ray was home schooled and heavily sheltered, there was practically no risk that the mafia would go after him, or even knew about him. Still, his family wasn't going to risk their child by taking him with them - instead, he would go to DWMA, one of the most secure places on the planet. There was a risk of getting injured, but his parents preferred that to risking his life by taking them with him. He was quickly moved out of the orphanage and, after the police explained his situation, was accepted into DWMA. Partner Name TBA Meister Abilities Meister: Even though he is extremely untrained, Ray is still a Meister. He possesses the same potential and typical abilities all Meisters have, such as wavelength communication. Wavelength Generation: Ray, for some reason, generates significantly more Soul Wavelength than the average Meister, allowing him to deal slightly more damage and fight longer before resting. Miscellaneous Abilities/Skills Physique: Even by Meister standards, Ray is ridiculously strong. His reflexes and speed are below average compared to other meisters, but he can easily lift things others would struggle with. Durability: Even more so than his strength, Ray can take beatings that would incapacitate others, only suffering serious injuries. In fact, Ray is almost masochistic in the fact that he will throw himself in harms way to protect others. Music: Despite his poor agility, years of practice has allowed him to be somewhat proficient at playing most musical instruments. While he is decent at most instruments, he has no heavy specialization. Soul Resonance TBA Extra Ray has no combat training whatsoever, a massive drawback for a Meister. This, combined with his lower than average intellect and lack of skills, makes him one of the weaker members of the EAT class. Thanks to how he was sheltered, Ray's skills are heavily specialized, and he lacks more utilitarian skills, like cooking or cleaning.
