Finch "Oh you've got to be kidding me." The criminal grumbled to himself as he watched the tv, where a news report was lovingly going over the latest fight between the High and some armored figure. Of course the guy got almost immediately teleported out of the city, but the fight was still easy enough to find if you really looked for it with how the terrain was changing. Though understandably anyone foolish enough to go looking kept far away for now. He took a sip from a cold bottle, Finch switching channels to see if he could find a different perspective somewhere else. This couldn't be the only news out there right? And maybe someone would be just a bit critical? One could hope at least. But no, that didn't seem to be the case. Eventually he settled down, merely fuming in his chair. "I pull off that grand abduction, then in like a day something involving the High happens and they steal the spotlight," he muttered to himself. He sure wasn't going to get it back any time soon, that was for sure. They were much too entranced with their brave leaders out defending the city or whatever. It made better news than him apparently. "Why should I be surprised." Well, there were some things that had gone well. He had escaped and was now holed up in a small apartment with some basic creature comforts like beer. All his looking had not turned up anything on the mysterious person who had helped him so recently during his escape, not that he had tried particularly hard. Somehow he had the feeling that they would be found when they wanted to be and not a minute sooner. Switching channels, he finally settled on some music video, technopop or whatever that certainly had a nice bass kick and not much else. "Fine, I'll just have to come up with something new then," Finch sighed, It would have to be bigger and more impressive, more attention grabbing. And ideally a bit more Epic-proof as well. Chances like the last one weren't his cup of tea. How hard could it be?
