His own history and situation makes he see the bright side to most situations and people too (even if there isn't one). He will give you the shit off his back (if he has one on) and treat you like you are his family. Keeping the lives of those around him safe is what drives him to become stronger. During missions he will what is required of him and taking orders is not problem, and he does so to the best of his abilities. Date is that asshole in the group who you get mad at because you can't find a reason not to like them. He is the type to get even though, he always has a smile and open arms but in one had a knife pointed at your back. He loves to repay any debt, insult for insult and favor for favor, if Date owes you he will be the honorable man he is and get you back one way or another. For all of his caring and kindness, Date has a dark side. He silently enjoys the pain of others and will inflict it without a moments notice. Only the most skilled could see his well hidden malicious intent and even fewer call him on it. Date can be your best friend with the warmest smile waiting to stab you in the back. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 【[U]History[/U]】 Being born into the Uchiha main branch was no simple thing, and being born the youngest of 2 sons made Date's birth even more important. As Date grew up he saw why he was so important to everyone. His father was an old man, and he gave birth to 4 girls before he finally had a son. His oldest son would prove to be a disappointment as he could not manifest his Sharingan, and thus he and his mother were shunned by the main branch for producing a "failure." Date's older brother could not use ninjustu and had to learn Taijutsu, and even then he was mediocre at best. Date on the other hand showed talent and promise. He stayed with his mother most of time not really wanting to deal with politics and lived a happy childhood. Eat sleep, train, repeat, it was simple and for a while to was all he needed. But Date's father grew impatient and tried to force his Sharingan active by killing wife. The old man was dying and he needed to make sure his legacy was secure so he st up everything he needed to make the boy think his mother was in grave danger. The results of this scheme could be called a success. Date at the age of ten awakened his Sharingan but lost his mother. An accident occurred and his mom was paralyzed. This sparked a fire in him, he saw just how corrupt and dark his family was and Date did not want any part of it. So 6 years alter he moved out of the Uchiha Compound and into Konoha. His father was outraged and demanded that he return everyday to train if he wanted his room and mothers medical expenses paid for. So for years he was held at the will of his father and still is.
