Name:calypso Sex:Female Race: wood elf Age:105 Religion: The Solymic faith and the trickster Backstory: Calypso doesn't know who her parent are or where she was exactly born. She was founded by an enslaved samothaur. The community of slaves helps her look like another slave girl. She spent her like working for high class dark elf's. One day the Samouthaur that took her in was killed for speaking against her owners. Calypso , enraged, plotted revenge against the owners. She eventually moved up in the rankings and became a maid. She eventually poisoned them, making there deaths slow and painful as possible. With no reason to stay, Calypso stole a satchel and a couple book on her way out from the crime scene. Calypso started to travel. She then quickly learned about exchanging and gaining currency. She ended up being taken in by a healer wood elf.She starting learning how to heal and conjure spells. Eventually her past caught up to her, dark elves put up a bounty on her. She immediately fled to Hoffen, a place where dark elves aren't known to go. She lived in a village on the edge of hoofed and gradually became the village healer. Still in gear that dark elves will catch her, She learns archery by some of the other villagers who are skilled. With all the down time she had, she spent her days collecting and reading books. Decades go by and she's seen so many generations of the village people procreate, evolve, create but mostly, Come and go. She decides to come out of hiding, and travel the realm to help people along the way. Motivation: Htraknu is going to destroy everything. Calypso is apart of everything. The logical thing to do is help destroy him. Magic: Simple healing spells Skills/Strengths: She can think quickly. Very stealthy, She can hide into the shadows easily. She's 5'5 so, she can also fit into small spaces. She's fairly good at archery. Know's how to make poison. Weaknesses: She's not very limber. She dislikes running and will only do it under certain circumstances (being chased). Short tempered. Paranoid of being caught by dark elves. Gear: bow and arrows satchel miscellaneous books Other:

Alright, you've already told me about your keyboard from Hell, so we'll ignore the spelling and grammar issues since those can be edited once you're in the pad. However, there are still a couple issues, which I'll sort into two categories.
First of all, that Samothaur that found her probably wouldn't have been killed for speaking out - just severely beaten. Furthermore, a slave with that much experience would probably know better than to backtalk the bosses. A more likely scenario is that said Samothaur was killed while trying to escape. Next, there's the poison. The "slow and painful as possible" thing is a tad edgy (no offense) and raises a bit of a plot hole: where did Calypso learn that level of skill with poison and where did she get the slow and painful death poison? It seems more likely that she used the first non-obvious poison handy and slipped out while the slave soldiers (yes, those are a thing and they're pretty well-trained) were distracted by the deaths of the owners. The brings me to another issue, how many owners did Calypso poison and how did she administer the poison?

Not as many issues here but there are a couple of things to keep in mind. First, the dark elves do not take kindly to their own being killed - especially by slaves. If they caught wind of her scent, they'd hunt her relentlessly. Second, Hoffen is a small town, there are no villages on the edges of town. Altenschloss, on the other hand is a nearby city you could work with (especially since we don't already have lore there and you can take a number of liberties within the setting as long as you stay within reason). Altenschloss could absolutely be the size we discussed for your healer to thrive - big enough that healing knowledge is accessible but small enough that she doesn't have competition. Going back to the dark elves, perhaps Calypso isn't her original name and is in fact a new identity to try to throw them off the trail? A surname would also be a good idea, BTW.
Once we work out the issues, I'd be happy to accept you (especially since I invited you). Do keep in mind that we'll have to figure out a way for your character to meet the others though. Also, perhaps her skill with poisons comes from having to know how to cure them?
