Nemesis sees itself as the ultimate giver of retribution. A being that believes in few others greater than itself, it completely disregards its own pride as a sin and seeks to purge only the arrogance of others. Stoic and unforgiving until the end, few are as hypocritical among the legions of heaven as the law-bringer Nemesis.

[b]History:[/b]
Many powerful figures have humble beginnings. In Nemesis' case, the Agent of Retribution started off as nothing more than a child's plaything. It was a detailed model robot with an angelic yet intimidating design, as well as a sword and shield that it could be outfitted with. If it were more than just a toy, such a figure would be truly frightening to face.

Before long, the toy's owner grew tired of his possession, and simply let the model collect dust on a shelf. With the opportunity having presented itself, an angel was sent to collect the toy while its owner slept, and when they returned, work on upgrading the model into something more battle-worthy began.

Surprisingly, once the transition from child's plaything to warrior of heaven had finished, Nemesis had already started displaying personality traits. The most notable were its pride and desire for retribution. Apparently, the model had been none too happy about being more or less abandoned by its owner, and wanted the child to suffer the consequences of leaving such a powerful combatant completely alone.

However, Nemesis would have to instead direct its punishment towards the opposing armies of machines and demons, at least until the war ended.
