Background: Yoko was a bit more rebellious member of the family. She wanted to make a name for herself and not live in the shadow of her family name so she started using Tasumi as her last name. She had plenty of training when she was young with Yoruichi. When Yoko set off on her own path and went to the academy Yoruichi helped her hide her identity. Yoko managed to get through the academy in about half the time needed. She bounced around various seated positions in the Gotei 13. The seat she held the longest was on Squad 5 as the 5th seat. When she obtained Bankai, she took the empty position of 10th squad Captain. She wasn't Captain for long having gotten caught up in the mess with the Vizards. She ended up in the human world but couldn't sit still like the others over the years. She eventually went out and tried to experience life as a human. She once met a teenager by the name of Shouzen who started to show her what human life was like, after a while though he was killed by a hollow before she could save him. It reminded her how much she wanted to protect people and began patrolling town while still living life as a human.

Personality: Yoko has a very carefree attitude, not one for formalities she always tends to stand out. Despite that she takes her job very seriously whether she seems like it or not her main priority has always been protecting others. She is very motivated by food, especially sweets, give her some sweets and she’ll even do jobs she hates or finds boring. Despite Yoko’s desire to protect others her favorite thing to do is a test of skill, she frequently spars with others to see where they stand or if she needs to improve. 
She is very secretive about her origins around others because she doesn’t want to be labeled because of her Clan. She always tries her best to earn her position on her own skills not wanting to get handed any position due to being a noble. In very rare occasions though, if she knew that someone she knew was trustworthy enough to keep her secret she would tell them.
Over the years of going by Tasumi instead of Shihoin she continued to go by the former even after she left the Soul Society.Yoko never could embrace being a Vizard. She despised the hollow part of herself and only ever uses it if she’s on the verge of death. Even though she liked being with the other Vizards she never felt she fit in with them because of how she felt. She would go wandering the town and she grew curious about human life.

Zanpakutō Spirit: Kurozunda chi (黒ずんだ血, Blackened Blood) Kurozunda chi takes the form of twins that in appearance mirror each other. They have very pale green skin and short hair that drapes over one eye. Kuro is the one with black hair covers the left and has red eyes and Chi is the one with red hair covers the right and has black eyes. They wear the same short kimono with sleeves that trail down to their ankles and the same green obi and silver thigh high socks. Their kimonos have color differences. Kuro wears red with black accents and black flats while Chi wears black with red accents and red flats.

Spirit World: A beach of endless black sands spreads out in one direction while an ocean of blood spreads out in the other. A towering black obelisk juts out of the ocean towards the red clouded sky. The ocean acts as a floor it’s strangely impossible to go under the water.

Zanpakutō Appearance (Sealed): A regular sized katana with red wrappings around the hilt and a black scabbard. The tsuba is a rounded rectangle with two rounded prongs sticking out on either side. It usually has part of a green cloth around the scabbard in the rare instance Yoko ties it to her obi.

Shikai: Kurozunda chi’s Shikai is released upon the command, “Bleed them dry." The katana and the scabbard will change into dual double-edged swords that taper to a point with no guard with the hilt wrapped in a ribbon that flows freely from the end. Much like the twins there is a color difference, one blade is black with a red ribbon while the other is a red blade with a black ribbon.
Juketsu Rasshu (純血ラッシュ Pure Blood Rush) - A massive blast of dark red colored reiatsu that behaves like blood. It moves at incredibly high speed in an arc.
Nekketsu (熱血 Hot Blooded) - The blades heat up immensely making things a bit easier to cut through.
Ketsuatsu Chinkon (血圧鎮魂 Blood Pressure Requiem) - By applying reiatsu to the blade while it’s in contact with another can cause a wound on an opponent. The wound is more severe if Yoko gives some of her own blood instead of reiatsu.

Bankai: 
Kōken ryū Kurozunda chi (後見竜  黒ずんだ血 Guardian Dragon Darkened Blood) - Upon release the Shikai will warp and cover Yoko’s body to form an armor covering almost all her body.

Sōseiji ryū Kurozunda chi (双生児竜  黒ずんだ血 Twin Dragons Darkened Blood) - Yoko’s armor will be removed and take on the form of blood flowing in the shape of twin dragons. Yoko can control their movements and the more blood they absorb the larger they get.
Ryū chi haretsu Kurozunda chi (龍血破裂  黒ずんだ血 Dragon Blood Burst Darkened Blood) - Yoko’s armor becomes thinner and it pierces her back slowly absorbing her blood and reiatsu and forming wings that dramatically enhances her physical strength but at an eventual cost of her life with prolonged use.

Other abilities:
Hakuda Master - Yoko had trained with Yoruichi since she was small in the ways of Hakuda. She excelled at it in her early age. She continued to utilize it as much as she could since she frequently had to bleed just to use her Zanpakuto, there were times where she was unable to so she defaults to her hand-to-hand combat more often than not.
Shunko - Yoko learned Shunko from Yoruichi after they left the Soul Society. She uses it frequently when her zanpakuto gets too taxing for her and her Hakuda isn’t enough.
Shunpo Adept - Yoko’s small stature made her naturally fast already. She excels at covering long distances rather than short when using Shunpo. Because of this she frequently over shoots when using Shunpo, once she adapted to that during training she started using it confuse her opponents.
Kido Practitioner - Yoko tends to use Bakudo spells more than Hado spells. She doesn’t use Kido all that frequently although she can use up to about 70 with the short incantation.

Hollowfication: Yoko rather despises using her hollow mask and will only do it as a last resort mainly when someone else's life is at risk rather than her own. Yoko’s hollow mask is a smooth and featureless with narrowed eyeholes. Thin red lines that taper to a point run the length of the mask are centered through the eyes. A short distance away from the tip of each line is a small red dot. When the mouth is opened the mask will crack into many thin jagged pointed teeth.

Power Augmentation - While wearing the mask, Yoko's Hollow powers enhance her Shinigami powers, giving her a vast increase in both strength and speed.
Cero - Yoko will fire her cero from her fingertips while her hand is in the shape of a gun. She can't always form a solid beam without it exploding at some point mainly because she doesn't practice enough.
Banshee Cry - While hollowfied Yoko can emit an extremely powerful scream of a high amplitude that can repel attacks to some degree and cause hearing damage to those nearby if ears are not protected.
