~Gwynn & Ritsa~
"Huh..." Gwynn watched Fia hit a perfect bulls-eye on her first shot. "How in the..." The pirate rubbed the back of her head, looking from the target to the child trying to figure out what just had happened. There was no way this untrained kiddo could do something like that without some sort of cheating. Well, it's a good thing she wasn't planning on playing fair to begin with. "Heh, I feel bad for Ritsa," She shrugged looking over to the Hydra. "Here we are both hittin' the furthers target and she's never held a bow before in her life, have ya?" "HM!" Determination crossed the hydra's features as she held the bow in her hands. She might not be able to hit the furthest target, but she could do something amazing here too! She walked up to the range, knocking the arrow in a similar fashion that Gwynn did, fumbling with it for a moment before being successful...and then knocked a second arrow alongside the first one. "Uh, Ritsa...that's not going to...work." The hydra didn't seem to be listening however, and instead pulled the string on the bow back as far as she could - considering her strength she nearly bent the bow more than she likely should have. Before anyone could say anything else, the Hydra released the string, sending the arrows flying. As inaccurate as the Hydra was, she didn't hit the target at all. One arrow careened over the entire field, seemingly burying itself in the middle of a sign of a tavern a street or so over where Gwynn's men were staying at. The second ricocheted off of a metal street lamp, redirecting it's path right back towards a certain pirate - impaling itself in her hat. "GAH-! Seven seas-Ritsa that was-" The hydra was just grinning up at Gwynn seemingly fairly proud of her results. "Ritsa did good!" "...yeah, yeah ya did." Gwynn grumbled giving the hydra a pat on the head. "Gah, and I liked this hat." The pirate grumbled, turning back to the range herself. "Heh, lets see if I can beat little miss prodigy here, eh?" Gwynn grinned, readying her bow again. Unfortunately for Fia, she wasn't going to be loosing this. She knocked an arrow - a hand running over the point of the projectile before pointing it at the target, pulled the string, took a deep breath and let the arrow fly. The projectile flew straight and true towards the far target - slamming into the bullseye right alongside Fia's. "And one more!" Quickly, Gwynn knocked another arrow pointed it at the far target and took another deep breath - but instead of firing it directly at the target this time, a split second before firing it she pointed the bow upwards towards the heavens. The arrow flew high, earning a few surprised gasps from a few onlookers, obviously not exactly expecting such a daring - or likely highly inaccurate shot to be made. Gwynn however, simply wore a smug grin, pulling the arrow out of her hat and spinning it between her fingers. A few seconds passed...and the arrow fell, being angled just so that it scored another bulls-eye. "Heh!" Gwynn chuckled, giving Fia a competitive grin. "That's how ya shoot a bow." A few claps erupted from a few onlookers. Once again, the Hydra gave Gwynn an unimpressed look, giving the pirate a judgemental stare.
~Miren~
"Ah, I believe that's Squid." Miren replied. "It's rather rare around here, but it's quite popular in the east." The rabbit smiled. "I've had some myself, you know. It's pretty good! Well, I am partial to vegetables but anyways," She turned to the vendor, observing a number of other exotic foods. Definitely not from around here. "Hehe, one thing I love about the festival is all the different people you could meet, you know?" Miren grinned, purchasing some squid herself. "I...I don't really go often becasue the amount of noise tends to make me a bit uncomfortable, but It's a great way to meet a lot of interesting people."
~Cynthia~
Cynthia didn't reply, but judging from how red her face was she was just trying to process everything she had just done. She picked up one of the pastries, stuffing it into her own mouth and chewing on it slowly. The maid seemed happy that Mugi liked both of the gifts at least, though. A few seconds of silence passed before the Maid finally worked up the nerve to reply to the Yuki-Onna's original question about the dance. "Yes...if you want too, we could go to the dance." The maid, sighed. "If you manage to keep your hands where you're supposed to, at least, I wouldn't mind going."
~Celine~
"Prowler of the night?" The undine scoffed, smirking condescendingly towards the cat. "You? You're just a child, a stray, an insignificant speck that this filth probably just took pity on." The undine turned her gaze back to Katherine, frowning at her accusation. Before either could react, her body seemed to fall in on itself as it became nothing more than a mass of flowing water. It leaped out of the tank, Celine's body forming again right in front of Katherine. "And handle you, filthy human? I can handle all manner of filth you insignificant speck of muck." Celine gave a dismissive huff. "I am a purifier. I cleanse filth such as yourself." The undine turned her head towards the cat, a cruel-seeming smile forming on the undine's lips before she continued. "But I won't tolerate an untrained, flea-ridden stray in the same vicinity as I."
~Sorcha~
Sorcha watched Richard go with a small smile. "Your father seems nice, heh." Sorcha chuckled lightly, turning towards Luna. "Perhaps we could visit the place before the dance, Maoin, right now though..." The dragon hummed lightly, seemingly debating for a few seconds before seemingly coming to a decision. "I heard they're actually having jousting matches near the lake." The dragon gave Luna a grin. "I am curious as to how well you handle the lance as well as the sword."
~Livia~
Livia breathed deeply, the smell of fall was quite the intoxicating one indeed. She always liked the fall festival. Such a pleasant event, really...as long as people like the Undine didn't make a nusciance of themselves. She'd pay her a visit later and show her the meaning of 'obedience'...though considering how close they had gotten, she might need to pay a visit to Katherine instead and tell her to keep her pets on a leash. Heh, now that would be amusing. "Hm...isn't that?" Her thoughts were interrupted when Livia noticed a certain father of a certain adorable knight walking through the crowds. Well, now this was going to be quite the interesting conversation then wasn't it? The headmistress put on a friendly smile as she walked over to Lord Lightsword. "Ah...Richard Lightsword. Quite a distance you've traveled, isn't it?" The headmistress spoke warmly as she approached. "Hows the festival so far, hm?"
