The throne room of the king of the heavens held a mix of emotions. Shouting and arguing, sadness and stillness and a redheaded woman seeming to have mixed emotions about the situation at hand, “And until you find the end to your marks you will not return to the heavens. The answers you seek lie in the eyes of the god.” A noble man raised his hand into the air, the room filled with a great light and the seven individuals in front of him vanished. The King slowly placed himself back onto his gallant throne, propped up his elbow and rested his chin in his hand. “Oh you little vixen you, will you learn your lesson?” As the Gods fell from the sky the conversation began. “The answers you seek lie in the eyes of a god?” The youngest god repeated his voice solemn and depressed. “Yes Axel, that is what he said; judging by the King’s demeanor, he must know much more than he’s telling us.” The elder of the gods said as he crossed his arms during their fall. “That trickster of a King knows exactly what he’s doing. I’ll be back in the heavens in no time.” The smirking brunette said laying back as the people fell from the key. The goddess with the dark violet hair who was falling among the gods clicked her tongue in rage towards the smirking man. “Shut your mouth you worthless lion. You know nothing of the King’s plans.” “Scorpio be still.” The black haired man with a professional presence said in an authority tone. “Leon knows as much as the rest of us. He is just making a guess.” “Director Stick in the Mud knows nothing; I at least know where I stand.” Leon said in a casual tone giving a shrug. “I think we should split up.” The more mature looking one spoke up once again, “Finding the god that the king mentioned should be our number one priority.” “I agree with Hue.” The silent one finally spoke up. “We’ll meet at the mansion and report anything that we have found. Despite the king’s rough treatment of us, he would never set us up to fail. The god we’re looking for must be in the city.” “Curt is right.” Axel said speaking up, sounding much full of more hope than he had been when they first were summoned to the palace. “I don’t know why you are all stressed?” The redhead Calamity said excitedly as they fell towards the ground. “This is like a vacation! We can’t use our magic, therefor we cannot work.” “We can use minimal magic and you will be up your neck in paper work if you keep with the comments.” Hue warned the happy redhead who huffed in response. “We break apart, find the former god and bring him back to the mansion, meet back at midnight whether you find him or not. Simple as that.” Leon barked before taking off in another direction. Everyone seemed to agree to this and parted ways except for the grumpy redhead who continued to pout as everyone is gone. Cal let out a grumpy sigh as she plumted towards the ground, that was until something hit her, in fact something hit her hard. “OOF!” A giant flying bird side swiped her following body from the rainclouds and Cal began to spin. Before she could react to anything, she lost control of her own flight pattern and fell into an empty park… well nearly empty. Upon her impact, the redhead in the black pants and the golden top landed on her back in a patch of soggy grass only to watch her vision fade in and out. A figure stood over her and before she could do anything, she was out.
