Yeah you're right about that. Probably happened when everyone was much closer together since looking at the reverse wedge formation that's pretty much the only way to one could speak in such a quiet manner to the rest. 

That's pretty cool actually. Though holy cow the itty bitty sounds that would be about would drive me insane if I was like that!
