[@Dr Catfish]Zelinka worked his way down the corridor, carefully not to move too quickly and startle the robot. While he wasn't expecting to meet an artificial lifeform, it wasn't surprising. They had had to deal with the replicators in both humanoid and insectoid forms in his universe. As he rounded the corner, he saw O'Brien floating there, his arm wedged between two broken beams. Checking his suit's diagnostics on his wrist, however, revealed that it was losing pressure. Zelinka turned the power down on his radio, limiting it to about 100 meters, and ignored the incoming calls from the other repair teams as he sent a message to the robot, assuming it had some form of internal radio. "His suit is damaged and is losing air. There's a doctor aboard my vessel who can treat his injuries. I don't have to reveal your existence, though. They can teleport his to the ship if I rig his suit to send a distress signal." Hopefully, the robot would let him get help. So far it had shown a concern for their lives, and the plan didn't put it in serious risk. [@Burning Kitty]After the call Sisko immediately called Admiral Ross, however, when he left his office a few minutes later he didn't look happy. "Commander Work, I want you to take the Defient and escort the Ferengi freighter "Tosik's pride" to the station. Inform them that we will be wiaving the usual docking fees this once, and that all traffic and trade in and out of the system will be routed through here. Dax and Kira, I want you to take the Yangtzee Kiang and escort Kasidy back here. Admiral Ross has ordered us to aid the Bajoran Militia in combating the threat of Origin, so from now on, all non federation or Bajoran Militia vessels in the system will receive an escort. All traffic will be routed through here. I'll inform Odo that he's about to get very busy. Dismissed." He walked over to the comms console as Kira vacated it and called Munro. "It seems that First Minister Shakaar was just paid a visit by Q, and spent 28 hours a year in the future. He now agrees with you, and has asked that all traffic in this system be routed through this station to insure that Origin doesn't spread." [hr] On the edge of the Badlands, aboard a Cardassian cruiser Dukat smiles and turns from the viewscreen displaying a Federation message to all ships in-system, to Weyoun. "You see, even the Federation fears Origin. I told you we could use their help." "I'm not sure they can be trusted." counters Weyoun. "Nonsense," Dukat counters, "We both know that this 'Orici' is a false god, and that your Founders aren't. What threat could she pose to them?" Weyoun smiles. "Very well, if you want to risk the lives of your people to try and turn this battle, you can meet with this 'Prior'. Just remember that while they may be our allies, they do not serve the Founders as we do." With that, he turned and left, not noticing the growing smile on Dukat's face.
