Neil completed his twisting flight through the valley once the pursuing missile had exploded, the young man checking his sensors to make sure none were following now as well. "Yes ma'am," he told her with a certain energy, truly enjoying the high stakes flying they were performing. He was a good fighter and loved a good scrap in and out of a machine, but he'd always felt a thrill escaping a pursuer, in a marketplace or piloting a ship on an unknown world. Even the best pilot couldn't get through the forest unscathed, but the Highlander took nothing more than glancing scrapes from the massive trees and their branches as Neil flew them out of the wilderness and above one of the winding rivers that snaked across the landscape, keeping low just as the Captain had ordered. He checked the coordinates and knew they still had another few valleys to traverse before they made it to the port they were trying to get to. "Let's hope whoever shot that missile isn't someone we bump into later," Neil said, turning the Auxiliary power on low as they glided. It seemed the forest within these valleys had small geysers of methane that shot out of the planet's surface for some reason. Neil would need to do some more geometric and geothermal readings within Savran at some point, but for now they were just about to make it to their destination. Suddenly, a hailing signal was sent to their Display monitor. Neil awaited his Captain's go to before answering. [@Penny]
