*Tiaz is bowled over by the boulder and slams into a tree. He slowly climbs back to his feet and snarls at Finnick*
Tiaz: You mock me human?! I'll show you things not seen by the likes of your kin!
*He presses his palm to the tree and it begins to blacken and wither, curling into a rotted black dead thing instead of the lush green tree it was mere moments before. His fist glows with black energy and he presses it to the ground. Roots erupt from the earth, attempting to wrap themselves around Finnick, taking his staff from him and giving to to Tiaz. Most disturbingly about these roots is that they are black and smokey, seemingly not like normal tree-roots*
Tiaz: You die this day human!


*Horus stands by the door to the outside, patiently waiting*

*Iris sits with a sleeping Hanna on the sofas, worriedly thinking about her lover's safety after wishing him well*
