Well so far I've already imagined Kazuo butting heads with and being fairly snarky towards characters who are more bossy and just overall jerks. 

So, I didn't initially have plans for how he'd act with either Namie or Ume. 

However, where Ume is concerned, I imagine him and her becoming friends relatively quick. Aside from a bit of snark and sarcasm he's a good guy and even if the quirk made him uncomfortable at first he would still want to be supportive and get her to see how great she is considering how hard it is to get into ishin. Although an encounter like this wouldn't be the first. It's probably build. Because he'd still be like "that's kinda creepy dude." 

As for Namie, I think they would hit it off fairly easily. and Kazuo is, to me anyway, a character who should be likeable and easy to click with as far as friendship goes. And you know, he probably would wanna spar with her on a friendly basis. 

If I had to discuss a scenario I wanna see, I kind of want a showcase of quirks.
