He'd also be closer to the status of bounty hunter than pirate, so I don't think there'd be a problem on the marine side of things.

And finally, I agree with you about the Admirals. one Logia, one Paramecia, one Zoan and then the Fleet Admiral has nothing. I always did think that the pre-timeskip Admirals were oversaturated with Logia types. Though I did appreciate that Sengoku had a Zoan fruit, which I feel like has always been rather underrepresented in the series. xD Usually, Zoan fruit users aren't as strong as many other Paramecia/Logia users in their arc. The only noteworthy ones being Sengoku, Marco, Lucci and Jack. Maybe you can consider Jabra and Kaku...but eh. And maybe X-Drake, but I've yet to see him do anything interesting so. xD

Anyway. Here's an idea I had though:

What if one of the Admirals, the Zoan one, has another of the Ryu Ryu no Mi models? It would give Ryu a particular, power rival he wants to beat a la Zoro/Mihawk, and it would imply that he received it from the Admiral that destroyed the Dragon Island.

Hey Digizel, no problem man.  Things happen all the time!  Glad you're back and feeling better!

Ah okay!  I think I see what you have in mind. So far it sounds good.  Any specific weaknesses like Mr. 3's wax's vulnerability to heat?  I could see it having problems with water, or maybe weak against friction(which is how erasers work)?

I feel the same way.  That's why my original character was going to be a zoan type.  I still might use the husky-husky fruit for someone down the line.  :D

As far as getting to make the mystic zoan type admiral grandia already asked for doing that too.  So I'm going to recommend we hold off on creating specific characters for now, and just focus on brainstorming like we've been doing, and then we'll eventually the fruits for the admirals will show up.

That being said, you could still create a dragon type rival for Ryu, just without the position in the marines.  Who knows maybe we'll have a time skip down the road and he'll get promoted ; )
