[hider=Summary] It's 2030, and war has ravaged the city. The Insurgency has been attacking the city for years and it's been wearing down everyone. You can't stop the war... it's not in your power. You are not elite soldiers. You are a group of civilians trying to survive this besieged city. You find a broken down house to call home. Be careful on what's outside however, you don't know who's knocking or what you'll find out in the town. You and your fellow survivors will be put to the test and might even argue, should we help this man? Should we kill this person? Scavenge for resources and try to survive. [/hider] [hider=Gameplay] Everyone gets attribute points at the beggining of the RP and also gets item points. Item points determine what items you have in the world whether it be a utility item or a weapon, these must be spent at the beggining of the game. Attributes points can be spread among diffrent traits which will benefit you in scenarios that will come. Things such as scavenging or cooking as two traits. During the day people will get the chance to do actions (will make limit later) such as powering the furnace to keep the heat up or cooking. Using certain items can speed up the process. Some tasks can take longer than others and you may have to evaluate its worth and if you have enough time. The amount of time you have is measured in hours and you can do as many actions until night falls. Once night falls your group may do 3 actions. Guard Sleep Scavenge Only one person may scavenge at a time. When scavenging a random scenario will be played and the person makes choices such as to where to look and if s/he should run away to the exit. This will all be determined by dice-roll, Rng, items, attributes and choice of area. Sleeping is self explanatory. You sleep your energy goes up. You do not contribute to guard while sleeping. Guarding is a very important part of surviving long. Sometimes at night people will attempt to attack your home and steal supplies. Guarding allows you to have a better chance of both: No one getting hurt and No Supplies Lost. Keeping a weapon at the house will boost your defense chances. The people guarding the house after defending will sleep for the rest of the night. The people guarding the house will also be put in a scenario, such as 'A man with a knife smashes a window' and the people guarding will make choices similar to how the scavenger makes decisions. The more people guarding the better! Moods: Actions can have repercussions such as when killing innocent people your character will begin being slightly depressed. If your character becomes too depressed you will lose control of that character for 1 day in game and someone must take care of you and do basic necessities like feed you. If not you might leave the house accidently or commit suicide. Alcohol is an excellent solver for this. [/hider] So there's my idea of an apocalyptic world rp. Death of a character is permanent and you will lose that characters stats if they die for extra challenge. You can find thier body however and take thier items. :)
