Torunn watched as her mother came around the couch she occupied and sat next to her where she had been rubbing the cushion. A small smile pulled at her lips as her mother's arm snaked around her shoulders. Her smile widened when the woman gently pulled her head down to her chest, allowing Torunn to lay her head there. Torunn's own arms slid around her mother's torso, and she closed her eyes, listening to her smooth, heart beat. It was one of those sounds that she always found comfort in when she was upset. Torunn stayed laying on her mother's chest for several minutes, soaking it all in. After all, now that she was moved out, it was something she missed. She opened her eyes and slowly pulled herself back up into a sitting position, smiling at her mom. "So," she began as she tucked her hair behind her ear and chuckled. "Been staying busy?" Her eyes glanced towards the muted t.v., then back to her mom. She too had noticed the odd change in the weather. Every now and again, she would watch the news, but didn't think too much about it. It was the weather, and it acted strange sometimes.
