It was just her and Luelle now. ”My next class is Hero Gadgets and after that Villain Psych. I dunno what you’re going to do but hey, let’s meet after school or something! We can hang out and stuff. In fact I could try to introduce you to the rest of my friends! I mean I’m sure you’ll meet them all eventually, but nothing like a little pow wow yeah?!” More and more students began to fill the hall, slowly separating the two girls. Before she too was swept up by the waves of students Mamoru gave her new friend one more final wave goodbye. ”I’ll catch you later Luelle! I’ll call you!” Mamoru’s next class was Hero Gadgets. Mamoru already used a few gadgets herself such as her ballistic rubber balls. She saw them in a catalogue. The police used these specialized rubber balls to suppress prison riots. Granted, they used them in concussion grenades, but Mamoru figured if she threw a handful of these at someone that would give them a concussion too. But this was just one tool out of many Mamoru hoped to use. She had no delusions about her quirk; while her shield was powerful it didn’t really do anything to improve Mamoru herself. Like a Fighter in D&D she needed equipment and smarts to overcome stronger enemies. Sure she’d learn more techniques as she went to Komei too, but learning how to hit harder or take a hit can only do so much whenever you’re fighting a nigh invincible, super speedy, flying, or invisible enemy. Mamoru could train herself as much as she wants, she knew that skill alone wasn’t going to be enough to take on everyone. Thus she needed equipment to cover her weaknesses. As Mamoru looked for her room the halls started to thin out as more students went to their next classes. She found her class soon enough, though it looked like a regular classroom. Maybe once class started they’ll move somewhere else? Mamoru hoped that they didn’t have to sit through more lectures. While it would be understandable because this was the first day of school and all, Mamoru wanted to keep doing more hands on stuff. She was a practical learner. As Mamoru entered the class she was pleasantly surprised to know that she was one of the first student's to arrive. She had expected to be late with how few students were in the hall but there were only three here right now. There was Dulga and two other students Mamoru didn’t remember seeing before. ”Hiya! I didn’t expect to see you so soon!” Mamoru said to Dulga as she took a seat near the front. As for the other two Mamoru turned towards them and extended her hand to them. Mamoru was unaware that one of them was blind. ”Akasha Mamoru! Nice to meet ya.” Mamoru tried to guess what the other two’s quirk were. She could tell the boy had something to do with spirits, if that purple little ghost on his shoulder wasn’t just a trick. Perhaps he could channel the souls of the dead? That sounded awesome. The other girl Mamoru wasn’t too sure, but she had a cane. So Mamoru guessed she was some sort of sword fighter. Perhaps she could turn her cane into a weapon, or a snake. She heard of people who could do that. There was some talk about what happened at the cafeteria, but either people didn’t care or knew better than to talk about it. No one seemed to have paid much attention which, oddly enough, concerned Donny. While he wasn’t normally the type of guy who’d demand the spotlight, he figured something like a fight in the cafeteria would be more topical. He worried if perhaps this school simply had an attitude about overlooking that sort of thing, fights between students. That sort of “Not my business” attitude was why Donny wanted to become a hero in the first place. Well, one of the reasons. He never liked hearing about problems he couldn’t do anything about. It just made him feel worse than he already does. Which of course just made him feel worse knowing that during that entire fiasco, all Donny did was try to get the others to run away. It wasn’t as if he didn’t believe them, but at that moment Donny was just weak. He didn’t know what he was up against and he didn’t want his new friends to get into trouble he couldn’t get them out of. He was most worried about Ezra; while the others might’ve earned the ire of A2, Ezra hurt a kid and might even be in trouble with the principle. Donny had heard his name called over the intercoms. ”Alright then… Okay Donny. This is what you gotta do. First step in being a hero. Find Ezra, talk to him. Ask him what happened, see if you can help. You gotta do this man, you can’t back out now. You didn’t come here to pussy out.” Eventually Donny arrived to the Culinary Arts class. While it was a bit odd why a school for superheroes had such a course, Donny wasn’t going to complain. He could already smell all the things he could try cooking. Not just sweets and desserts, though he wanted some of those. He thought about all sorts of stews and grilled goodies he could try to make. Juices and cocktails, minus the alcohol of course. Heroes or not, he doubts that the class would let them use anything with an alcohol content higher than 2%. At least not without teacher supervision. ”So no flambes.” As Donny settled in, he noticed Mina was in this class too. He hadn’t expected that; she seemed more the type to learn something practical, like Hero Gadgets. She was sitting with another girl too, Donny didn’t recognize her immediately, though he vaguely remembered seeing her at lunch. Wasn’t she sitting with Roy and Ezra? Donny went to sit at a table near by, and as he walked pass he turned towards the Mina and the new girl. ”H-H-H-Hi, Kosuke-san… And h-hello to you too.” Donny bowed his head as he got his seat and looked around. He also noticed Jett and Roy in the class, so Donny waved at them too. He wondered what if everyone in A1 was going to be here. As Donny took his seat he seemed more relaxed, more in his element. He couldn’t wait to start cooking. [@Heartfillia][@Silver Carrot][@Aerandir][@Pkken]
