Haruka Sanegeyama
So far, Haruka's day had been pretty good. Ever since coming to the school, she felt as if she were really accomplishing something big, and though she still hadn't been anywhere near sociable, something about the school itself just made her feel good. It was a nice place, and there were all sorts of interesting people there. Not many she felt comfortable approaching on her own, of course, but maybe if she gave it some more time. After the lunch break came the electives, of which she had chosen Culinary Arts. Hero Gear had sounded interesting, but it would have passed by far too quickly to be engaging for her if the gear had been especially technological. She could always just give some of the more common pieces a quick look-over at a future time, she thought. For now, she picked something that would be useful for her to learn. Culinary arts sounded low-stress and could give her some life skills that she didn't yet have. As much as she enjoyed food, her skills were pretty much limited to boiling water and sticking things in microwaves. Since she was in a dorm, she needed some way to keep herself from starving. Instant noodles could only carry someone so far in life. With a small piece of paper in her hand, upon which the room number was written, she walked through the school looking at doors and following the numbers in the right direction. She stopped in front of a door that had a number matching her paper, slid it into one of her uniform's jacket pockets, and took a breath. "'Kay, here goes," She mumbled quietly, opening the door and peeking inside to see who was there. When she saw a handful of people, she immediately realized how weird it was to only have her face peering through the door. Reflexively, she opened it more and stepped inside. It didn't take long for another revelation to hit her, that being that the way she walked in had been pretty darn bizarre. "Oh my god you idiot just sit down before anyone sees you," she silently thought, slipping away from the door before it closed, so that the sound of that didn't draw any unwanted attention. Haruka took a seat as quickly as she could, slipping off her backpack on the way over to one of the tables. It was decorated with pins that had interesting designs, a variety that had been taken from her tokusatsu shows she enjoyed, as well as a keychain of a super-deformed styled Kamen Rider. She positioned it next to her chair, and once seated, took another deep breath and closed her eyes for a minute. "It's fine," she thought to herself, exhaling. "You made it. It's all good now." When she opened her eyes again, she decided to look over the other students in the class. Nobody she recognized from passing meetings, though some of them stood out quite a bit. In particular, she decided that if she ever was forced to partner up with someone, she would go for Donny. He looked non-threatening and approachable, and she guessed from appearance that he liked food enough to know what he was doing with it. While thinking about that, her eyes lingered for a moment, but swiftly looked away once she realized that she had been doing so. [@Lucius Cypher]
