It has been twelve years since the journey to Japan and the defeat of Brushogun. The Teen Titans have returned to Jump City and continued to deliver justice to villains, big and small. Though little change within the last decade, the biggest news to the Titans is the reappearance of Slade, who has now gone under the alias of Deathstroke. After the name change, his attacks have become more violent and chaotic, but just as strategically outlined as before. In addition to the West and East Titans, The North Titans of the American-Canadian border and the South Titans of southeast Florida are founded. These actions have been helpful with the rise of strong new villains and stronger, older ones. There have been many recent cases in which the full team is required to take down but a single person. With the exception of the western team, the 'Teen Titans' name has been passed down to new groups of heroes. The main reason is Robin, who keeps refusing to let go of the handle and let others protect the city. It isn't a pride thing, but it resonates with him in a bad way. It has reminded him of his mentor Bruce Wayne, who picked him off the streets. He doesn't want to pull random kids into the thick of things, especially with dangerous villains about. Now, the Teen Titans are losing their protective hold of the city, and from what the others have seen, it appears that Robin - now under a new codename 'Nightwing' - is ready to pass the baton...

O V E R V I E W

< iCheck Notes >

The World
Setting is strictly based on the Teen Titans animated series on Cartoon Network. Stuff from the comics and other cartoons (e.g. Young Justice) are all disregarded.
The Cast
Both myself and you, the partner, will be playing OCs being recruited to join the Teen Titans. More can be further discussed if you wish to take up this roleplay idea. However, be prepared to double or handle lots of NPCs depending on IC development. The original Teen Titans members will make appearances to help push the plot forward, and other Teen Titans characters may make cameos. Regarding powers, while I know DC (and Marvel) is known for their [s]cringeworthy overpowered[/s] superpowers, we are not creating god-like characters who can destroy the world with just a snap of their fingers here. Please be reasonable, and work with abilities that makes sense to your character and the roleplay setting.
The Theme
As clearly stated in the synopsis, the plot will center around the new Teen Titans team as the next generation of Jump City's superheroes. Violence, gore, psychological horror and other mature themes may be thrown in to create tension and drama. Romance is optional - I'd rather leave that to IC development than forcing our characters to go kinky for no good reason. More plot details can be discussed in private.
The Style
Advanced level - no one-liners; proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and paragraphing rules apply... yada yada. Be open to collaborative writing at times, especially for action scenes. Also, do your research on how various superpowers work, some basic knowledge on the canon characters (in case they make appearances in the IC), blah blah. I'm not going to spoonfeed you when you should read up the wikias on your own.
