Jeanna's words may have been comforting to some, but to Jenna they only confirmed her earlier assumption. They wouldn't be finding Riley alive. Each minute that went by with her missing, the chance of finding her in one piece went down. There was a serial killer in Red Lake as far as Jenna could tell. And as much as Jenna loved to solve these things by the books, she made a mental note to head to the lake that night. Maybe she'd be able to find Riley's ghost and get some more information. It was her gift after all--she could see the spirits of the departed. "Yeah, she texted me that day," Jenna said, having the timestamp memorized from all the other officials she had talked to. "Around four, she asked if I wanted to go to the lake and hang out." She had been stuck at work for another hour however, since one of the deputies had asked her to file some papers. And by some papers, it was more a near complete overhaul of the records cabinets. The last person to do the job hadn't understood alphabetical order properly. She figured that she'd tell her parents she was spending the night at Abe's place before heading out for the lake. With everyone searching in the area until sunset, she'd need to wait until it was properly dark outside to get some privacy. Jenna tried not to seek out spirits and talk to them, but if she found Riley's ghost, she didn't want to look insane as she talked to thin air. Besides, she was already expecting the mayor's ghost to waltz into view at any minute, demanding for his murder to be solved. But so far, she had seen nothing. Pulling out her phone again, Jenna checked the time, before tapping out two quick replies. She didn't tell Finn about her plans for that night, since she didn't want to explain ghosts and all to Finn just yet. Jenna had only ever told Kosara before and even then, it had been a hypothetical discussion.
To Finn: Sure thing. Waiting to be told if they still want me here today or not.-J

To Liv: Nothing much. Might stop by the cafe later. -J
