Emil Burton
Wall Rose, Trost District[@wolverbells][@Jinxer]----- With no answer to his yelling from Lauren, be it from her shock or her inability to hear him, Emil released his hooks from the wall and pushed his feet off of it hard. Falling from the wall Emil pumped the gas and flipped himself halfway over so that he was falling head first and looking out over Trost, 'This has to be a sick joke.' he thought as he fired his hooks from above himself into the building nearest to him. With a stomach lurching change of orientation, Emil swung between the building and came grinding to a halt. With the simple touch of a trigger, Emil's hooks released and he fell the meter and a half to the ground with a solid thud. He turned quickly back toward the wall and ran to it. Desperately searching above, hoping that his comrades would come down from the wall, return to form up and receive their orders at the headquarters building. He brought his hands to his mouth, about to yell to those he knew were still above him, "The--" "Emil?!" The voice came just a moment before Jade slammed into him, her arms gripping him close, trapping him where he stood as his arms shot out to his sides hovering in the air as he was unsure of what to do with her. Jades questions came quickly, desperately to his ears, "Jade there's more on the..." he began to answer before she pulled himself from him and seemed to turn her gaze by to the wall where she quickly spotted Lauren. Then he heard the voice of Gabriel from somewhere above, the Giant had managed to survive and was doing what he had become known for in training. Taking charge. With Gabriel's call it quickly became evident just how many cadets had survived as here and there one or two cadets would burst forth from the smoke above in and make their way back to the rally point at the headquarters. "Jade we've got to go..." he'd say from behind Jade as he grabbed her wrist and began to pull her toward the city, "Lauren we're leaving come on!" he yelled over his shoulder to the cadet high on the wall while he pulled out a gear handle with his free hand, "We've got to regroup, the Garrison has a plan for this, they'll know what to do..." he said, trying to reassure Jade as he towed her along although his voice faltered a bit at the end.
