Temperament: Possessing of a hair-trigger temper and a love of combat, Orlanth is none-the-less committed to the laws of the Orlanthi, no matter how strange and alien. Their two sacred laws are "No-one can make you do anything", and "There is always another way". He places high emphasis on the tenants of vengeance, bravery, generosity, and honor. Orlanth already showed great wisdom as a youth, challenging the rule of the Emperor who ruled over them and defeating him in a series of challenges. It was through these challenges that he won the love of his wife Ernalda. As an adult, he founded the Storm Tribe, and was one of the Lightbringers who brought back the Sun to the world and saved it from death. Suddenly transported to the Array, Orlanth has spent as long as he has been on the new plain attempting to gather the similarly displaced Storm People, succeeding in assembling a tribal moot. Created by a merger of Orlanth's family and their clans into one singular collective in an attempt to defeat the enemy Night Tribe, the Storm Tribe was the first of its kind, and among the most successful. Although nearly destroyed when the Age of the Gods ended, the Storm Tribe was recreated, including the Orlanthi gods and those mortals who were transported to the new plane. Orlanthi are a scrapping type, even the most peaceful clans raid each-other for cows or silver, and this tenancy was what lead to them being brutalized upon their first arrival to the Ragnarok Array. Finally assembled by Orlanth, the Storm Tribe now rely on the leadership of their gods in order to survive this new battle, and hopefully gain enough magical power to re-enact the Lightbringers Quest and recreate the world.
Military and Strategy
Officers: Ω Humakt, God of Death and wielder of the sword called Death, able to kill even immortal beings. (Lawful Good) Ω Ernalda, Goddess of Earth and wife to Orlanth, able to sow fields with nothing but her presence. (Neutral Good) Ω Eurmal, God of Tricksters and forger of the sword called Death. (Chaotic Neutral) Ω Elmal, Loyal Guardian, God of Horses and defenders, able to survive being ripped to pieces so long as he is defending something. (Lawful Neutral) Ω Issaries and Lhankor Mhy, Gods of Trade and Knowledge. (Both Lawful Neutral) Ω Chalana Arroy, Goddess of Magic and Healing.(Neutral Good) Victory Conditions: Re-enactment of the Lightbringers quest. By taking a large amount of nodes and using them to bring through enough magic to make a heroquest feasible, the Storm Tribe will then enter the Godly Plain and perform the quest. Orlanthi quests have a powerful effect on the real world, and the Lightbringer quest is the most powerful of these, able to completely change the structure of the world.
