The fall day was crisp and beautiful, and Susan looked out her office windows. The leaves were turning, the birds were singing... and she was stuck inside doing paperwork. HeartShine's new principal groaned. She took a look and realized that she was about an hour ahead of schedule. Fast typing helped a lot. She decided to head to the main entrance and greet the students as they came in.

Carmen had picked up a taxi from the airport and got out at the school. She took a look at the grounds, which were absolutely immaculate. [i]This is the place for me.
